Abstract
Un método para colocar una mezcla de partículas en una fractura que se forma en una formación subterránea desde un pozo comprende inyectar a través del pozo un primer fluido de tratamiento para iniciar o propagar la fractura en la formación subterránea, en donde el primer fluido de tratamiento comprende una pasta acuosa de la mezcla de partículas; la mezcla en partículas comprende al menos una primera cantidad de partículas que tiene un primer tamaño de partícula promedio entre aproximadamente 100 y 5000 mm y al menos una segunda cantidad de partículas que tienen un segundo tamaño de partículas promedio entre aproximadamente tres y veinte veces más pequeño que el primer tamaño de partículas promedio; inyectar a través del pozo un segundo fluido de tratamiento que tiene una viscosidad diferente del primer fluido de tratamiento; y formar con la pasta acuosa de la mezcla de partículas una pluralidad de racimos ricos en partículas espaciados por regiones libres de partículas que forman los canales abiertos.
