Abstract
La invencion se refiere a un método para producir dioxido de titanio microcristalino en forma de rutilo, que tiene un tamano de cristal menor que 15 nm, mediante un proceso acuoso y a un producto de dioxido de titanio adulterado con el silicio obtenido mediante el citado método. Al menos en un paso del método para producir el mencionado producto de dioxido de titanio, se emplea un compuesto que contiene silicio a fin de proveer dicho producto de dioxido de titanio con un tamano de cristal pequeno.
