Abstract

Se provee un proceso para formar ésteres de ácido graso de alcoholes de alquilo C1-4 mediante transesterificacion alcalina de un aceite glicérido, que comprende las etapas de: (a) proveer un aceite glicérido con un contenido de ácido graso libreinferior a 2%, más preferiblemente inferior a 0,5% en peso, expresado como ácido oleico; (b) mezclar dicho aceite glicérido con al menos una parte de una o más fases alcoholicas que se originan a partir de la transesterificacion alcalina referidaanteriormente: (c) separar la mezcla así formada en una fase alcoholica, pesada y una fase grasa pre-tratada, liviana; y (d) transesterificar dicha fase grasa pre-tratada con dichos alcoholes de alquilo C1-4.
