Abstract
Un proceso de conversion de SO2 en sales de interés comercial comprende los pasos de: a) llevar a cabo una primer etapa de absorcion que comprende poner en contacto una corriente gaseosa de ingreso (1) que comprende SO2 con una primer fase de absorcion (2) que comprende sulfito y bisulfito de metal alcalino, alcalino terreo o amonio, a un pH de entre 8 y 4,5, b) sobresaturar la fase que comprende sulfito y bisulfito de metal alcalino, alcalino térreo o de amonio y provocar la precipitacion de los cristales de meta bisulfito de metal alcalino o alcalino térreo o de amonio, c) llevar a cabo una segunda etapa de absorcion que comprende poner en contacto la corriente gaseosa (1') que egresa de la primer etapa de absorcion (a), con una segunda fase de absorcion (6) que comprende sulfito de metal alcalino o alcalino térreo o de amonio a un pH de entre 9 y 7, y d) sobresaturar la fase que comprende sulfito de metal alcalino o alcalino térreo o de amonio, y provocar la precipitacion de cristales de sulfito de metal alcalino, alcalino térreo o de amonio.
