Un método para disminuir el índice de fotoamarillamiento del papel que contiene pulpa mecánica, que compende: aplicar una solucion acuosa que contiene una cantidad efectiva de una o varias sales del ácido tiociánico sobre la superficie de una hoja de papel en un proceso de elaboracion de papel.
