Abstract

Una red de malla (ômeshö) incluye al menos un master de canal (CM) y una pluralidad de puntos de malla (MPs). El CM envía un mensaje de intencion de cambio de canal a al menos uno de los MPs que indica la intencion del CM de cambiar de un primer canal a un segundo canal. Al recibir el mensaje de intencion de cambio de canal el al menos un MP determina el conmutar o no del primer canal al segundo canal. El al menos un MP envía un mensaje de respuesta de cambio de canal al CM. El CM determina entonces si cambiar o no del primer canal al segundo canal en base a mensaje de respuesta de cambio de canal. El mensaje de intencion de cambio de canal puede indicar un cambio de modo, un cambio de ancho de banda o un cambio de una cantidad de canales. El mensaje de intencion de cambio de canal puede indicar el timing del cambio de canal.
