Abstract

Se divulga una cabeza rotativa e control de presion (RPCH por sus siglas inglesas: Rotating Pressure Control Head) con un mecanismo de enganche rápido. La RPCH comprende un cuerpo superior y un cuerpo inferior. El mecanismo de enganche rápido permite que el cuerpo superior se desenganche rápidamente el cuerpo inferior, para poder reemplazar el cuerpo superior con otro nuevo. El cuerpo superior comprende un elemento de sellado y una caja interna que rota con respecto a una caja externa. El elemento de sellado contiene una variedad de cavidades internas, las cuales controlan el cenimiento del elemento de sellado alrededor del tubo de perforacion.
