Abstract
La presente se relaciona con un revestimiento electrocatalítico y con un electrodo que tiene un revestimiento aplicado sobre el mismo, donde el revestimiento es un revestimiento de óxido de metales mixtos, preferentemente óxidos de rutenio, titanio y estaño o antimonio. El revestimiento utiliza agua como solvente, lo que produce una superficie más lisa que los solventes a base de alcohol. El revestimiento electrocatalítico se puede emplear especialmente como componente anódico de una célula de electrólisis y, en especial, una célula para la electrólisis de soluciones acuosas cloroalcalinas.
