Abstract

Un método de actualizacion de un sistema de recepcion de operadores multiples a través de mensajes de administracion (EMM) y de actualizacion, entre un sistema de gestion de abonado y uno o varios decodificadores de television de pago, en el que el funcionamiento del decodificador depende de la recepcion de mensajes de administracion (EMM) y de actualizacion de la parte de al menos un operador preferente, en el que dicho decodificador debe pasar al estado de reposo bajo ciertas condiciones. En el caso de que el abonado utilice mayoritariamente un operador que no necesite derechos de abono, el decodificador no recibe más actualizaciones necesarias. Cuando se necesita conmutar dicho decodificador al estado de reposo, el método efectua las siguientes operaciones: - conmutar la recepcion sobre el o los operadores preferentes, - recibir y tratar los mensajes de gestion de los derechos (EMM), - determinar el final de un ciclo completo de recepcion de mensajes, - conmutar al estado de reposo.
