Un compuesto del uracil de la formula (1) en donde W representa oxígeno, azufre, imino, o alquilimino C1-3; Y representa oxígeno; azufre o alquiliminoC1-3; R1 representa alquilo C1-3 o haloalquilo C1-3; R2 representa alquilo C1-3; R4 representa hidro geno o metilo; R5 representa alquilo C1-6, haloalquilo C1-6; o lo similar; X1 representa halogeno, ciano o nitro; X2 representa hidrogeno o halogneo; y cada uno de X3 y X4 independientemente representa hidrogeno,halogeno, alquilo C1-6 o lo similar. E l presente compuesto posee una exceletne actividad herbicida. Una composicion herbicida; un método de aplicacion en elcontrol de malezas y un compuesto intermediario de síntesis.
