Abstract

Se proporciona además un método para fabricar un ánodo para utilizar en un medio marino por medio de la aplicacion de una solucion que contienehipoclorito, un material que contiene hipoclorito o un precursor de esto a una superficie metálica del ánodo. Se describe asimismo el sistema resistente a lacorrosion para utilizar en un medio marino que incluye un ánodo conectado eléctricamente a los componentes de metal bajo el agua susceptibles de oxidacion,teniendo el ánodo una superficie expuesta al agua del medio marino, y la superficie del mismo un revestimiento de cloruro de metal.An anode is revealed for use in a marine environment, which includes a metal surface on which a basic metal chloride coating is formed. It is preferred that the basic metal chloride coating be formed by applying a solution containing hypochlorite, a hypochlorite salt or a precursor thereof to the metal surface and that the metal surface is copper or copper and the coating is a basic chloride chloride. A method is also provided for manufacturing an anode for use in a marine environment by applying a solution containing hypochlorite, a material containing hypochlorite or a precursor thereof to a metal surface of the anode. The corrosion-resistant system for use in a marine environment that includes an anode electrically connected to the underwater metal components susceptible to oxidation is also described, the anode having a surface exposed to the water of the marine environment, and the surface thereof a metal chloride coating.
