Abstract

Un procedimiento para preparar alquil-terbutil éteres y di-n-buteno a partir de butanos naturales y en una producción acoplada, alquil-terbutil éteren calidad deaditivo para la gasolina, empleo de di-n-buteno para preparar materias primasdetergentes en el cual a) en una etapa de deshidrogenación 2 sedeshidrogenan juntos el n-butano y el isobutano contenidos en los butanos naturales 1 para obtener una mezcla de deshidrogenación 3 que contiene n-butenoe isobuteno, b) se conducel a mezcla de deshidrogenación 3 hacia la etapa de eterificación 4, en donde el isobuteno se hace reaccionar en forma selectivacon un alcanol 5 para obtener un alquil-terbutil éter 6, y c) se conduce la mezcla residual de deshidrogenación 7haci a la etapa de oligomerización 8 endonde se oligomeriza el n-buteno en forma catalítica. En una forma de realización preferida del procedimiento se someten los butanos naturales 1,antes de ser conducidos hacia la etapa dedeshidrogenación 2, a las condiciones de hidrogenación de una etapa de hidrogenación 9, y se hacen pasar hacia unaetapa de separación 10 a la que se agrega una etapa de isomerización 11 mediante la cual se puede ajustar la relación n-/iso ala relación deseadae ntre las cantidades de di-n-buteno y de metil-terbutil éter, y finalmente se conduce el butano natural 1a, cuya relación n-/iso ha sido modificada de lamanera indicada, hacia la etapa de deshidrogenación 2. El proceso permite producir el n-bu teno y el isobuteno en un solo lugar en cantidades suficientesy sin tener que transportar el producto a través de largas distancias, tal como lo requiere una producción acoplada para la operación de una planta rentableyventajosa para la preparación de di-n-buteno a gran escala y de una planta similar para la obtención de RTBE.
