Abstract

Un proceso para la preparación de clorhidrato de N(G)-monometil-L-arginina, el cual comprende la reacción de un compuesto de la fórmula (I) o una sal deadición de ácido del mismo, en donde L es un grupo saliente con L-ornitina o una sal de adiciónde ácido de la misma, en un solvente polar adecuado,seguida de acidificación hasta pH entre 4 y 5, y luego de la adición de un solvente alcohólico, se aisla el producto a partir de la mezcla de reacción,mediante cristalización.A process for the preparation of N (G) -monomethyl-L-arginine hydrochloride, which comprises the reaction of a compound of formula (I) or an acid addition salt thereof, wherein L is a leaving group with L-ornithine or an acid addition salt thereof, in a suitable polar solvent, followed by acidification to pH between 4 and 5, and after the addition of an alcoholic solvent, the product is isolated from the reaction mixture , by crystallization.
