Bernard Schott: Other comments in formula section are ok.
12:31
Michel Marcus: A002326 comment fails for odd n=51,111, 327
13:05
Bernard Schott: Or, maybe, create a sequence with odd numbers that fail relation with A002326 (?)
14:26
Michel Marcus: yes ...
14:59
Bernard Schott: Oui, je comprends.
17:14
Michel Marcus: I am stuck at 487 ...
17:40
Bernard Schott: Bravo, you have got some terms. The same as 05:01, if it is interesting, creation of this new sequence with a comment here (?), otherwise as your sugestion at 09:47, remove (?). In all cases, you have (again) done good job, with these two formulas.

Bernard Schott: Yes, super.
06:56
Michel Marcus: I wonder if we should also replace 2nd formula with a new sequence A002326((a(n)-1)/2) and add Thomas comment (iff n is odd or n is even ... ) there
09:26
Bernard Schott: Yes, also.
09:47
Michel Marcus: Unfortunately Thomas Ordowski A002326 comment fails for odd n=51 and 111; what should we do ??? (keep and warn) or remove ?
09:56
Bernard Schott: Ah! Maybe remove as comment of formula fails for these two odd integers.

FORMULA

From _a(n) = a(2n) iff a(n) > A002587(n). See A337431. - _Thomas Ordowski_, Jan 07 2014: (Start)

a(n) = a(2n) iff a(n) > A002587(n).

a(n) = a(2n) = a(4n) iff n is prime p == +-1 (mod 8) and 2^p-1 is prime. (End)

CROSSREFS

Cf. A337431 (a(n)=a(2n)), A359063 (a(n)=a(2n)=a(4n)).
