Most of the detection techniques either use transform domain or spatial domain information to detect the forgery. This paper presents a hybrid method to detect the forgery making use of both the domains i.e. transform domain in whichSVD is used to extract the useful information from image and spatial domain in which L*a*b* color space is used. Here block based approach and lexicographical sorting is used to group matching feature vectors. Obtained experimental results demonstrate that proposed method efficiently detects copy-move forgery even when post-processing operations like blurring, noise contamination, and severe lossy compression are applied.
