Dario Fo (24 Mac 1926 - 13 Oktober 2016) ialah seorang pelakon, pengarang drama, pelawak, penyanyi teater, pereka panggung, penulis lagu, pelukis, pelawak politik untuk sayap kiri Itali dan penerima Hadiah Nobel dalam Kesusasteraan 1997.[1] Pada zamannya beliau "boleh dikatakan yang paling banyak bermain drama kontemporari kontemporari di teater dunia".[2] Kebanyakan karya dramatiknya bergantung kepada penambahbaikan dan terdiri daripada pemulihan bentuk teater "tidak sah", seperti yang dilakukan oleh giullari (pemain-pemain berjalan kaki abad pertengahan) [3] dan, lebih terkenal, gaya Itali purba commedia dell'arte.[4]
