Arıcılık, insan beslenmesi ve sağlık açısından önemli ürünler ortaya koyan, bitkilerin tozlaşması yoluyla doğal dengenin korunmasında ve tarımsal üretimde önemli rol oynayan, nispeten daha az emek gerektiren bir hayvancılık alt sektörüdür. Türkiye hem kovan varlığı hem de bal üretimi açısından dünyanın en önemli üreticilerinden biridir. Ülke 8120000 adet arı kovanı ve 117000 ton üretim ile 2019 yılı itibarıyla dünyada ikinci sıradadır. Araştırma alanı olarak belirlenen Çanakkale ili 84000 adet kovanı ve 1700 ton bal üretimi ile ülke toplam bal üretiminde %1.65’lik paya sahiptir. Bu çalışmada Çanakkale ilinde Tabakalı Örnekleme Yöntemi ile 64 arıcılık işletmesi belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada arıcılık işletmelerinin 2019 yılı faaliyetlerinin sosyo-ekonomik yönden analizi yapılmıştır. Dunya aycicegi (Helianthus annuus L.) uretiminde 10. sirada yer alan Turkiye’de uretimin %60’lik bolumu Trakya’da uretilmektedir. Bu nedenle, Turkiye’nin Avrupa bolumunu olusturan Trakya’da tarim isletmeleri aycicegi uretiminde uzmanlasmis ve bolge, sagladigi hammadde nedeniyle, ulkenin bitkisel yag sanayi merkezi olmustur. Bu calismada Trakya’da aycicegi ureten isletmelerin verim ve gelir durumlari yaninda, uretimi etkileyen faktorler arasinda farklilik olup olmadigi arastirilmistir. Calisma sonunda, isletmelerin aycicegi uretim alani buyuklukleri baz alinarak maliyet unsurlari ayrintili olarak aciklanmistir. Çanakkale ili ekim alanlarındaki %9.35, üretim miktarındaki %9.81’lik pay ile çeltik üretiminde Türkiye genelinde 4.sırada yer almaktadır. Çeltik ürünü, yıllık yaklaşık 500 milyon TL’lik getirisi ve tarımsal üretim değerindeki %5.59’luk pay ile il ekonomisine katkısı bakımından 5.sırada yer almaktadır. Bu çalışmada araştırma alanı olarak belirlenen Çanakkale ilinde örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen işletmelerdeki çeltik üreticilerin yaşları, aldıkları eğitim düzeyleri ve çeltik üretimindeki tecrübeleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmada yer alan veriler 2018 yılı üretim döneminde 74 çeltik üretim işletmesinden elde edilmiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre; işletme sahiplerinin yaş ortalaması 52.78 yıl, aldıkları eğitim süresi 8.27 yıl ve çeltikteki üretim tecrübesi de 19.6 yıldır. Günümüzde Odun Dışı Orman Ürünleri ekonomik ve kültürel açıdan giderek daha fazla önem kazanmaya başlamıştır. İkinci ürün olarak değerlendirilen ve tıbbi - aromatik bitkiler grubunda yer alan defne bitkisi genelde Türkiye özelde ise Hatay İli için özel önem arz etmektedir. Dünya defne yaprağı talebinin %90'a yakın kısmını karşılayan Türkiye bu üründe en önemli tedarikçi ülke konumundadır. Kullanım alanı oldukça yaygın olan defne, Türkiye tıbbi ve aromatik bitkiler dış satım değerinin yaklaşık %24'ünü oluşturmaktadır. Türkiye'nin defne yaprağı üretimi 20.000 tonu aşarak 2015 yılında bir önceki yıla oranla %39, defne yaprağı geliri ise %77 oranında artış göstermiş, üretilen miktarın %59'u ise dış satıma konu olmuştur. Bu çalışmada Hatay İli süt sığırcılığı işletmelerinin sermaye yapılarını ortaya koymak ve meydana gelen gelişmeleri değerlendirmek amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda gerekli veriler, Hatay İli'nde seçilen 12 ilçeye bağlı 24 köyde faaliyet gösteren işletmeler arasından tabakalı örnekleme yöntemine göre belirlenen 141 süt sığırcılığı işletmesinden anket yapılarak elde edilmiştir. İncelenen işletmelerde aktif sermaye içinde hayvan varlığı %56 ile ilk sırayı almıştır. Pasif sermaye içinde öz sermaye oranı ise %92.21'dir. Belirtilen oranlar süt sığırcılığıyla ilgili olarak daha önce yürütülmüş olan araştırma bulgularıyla benzerlik göstermektedir. Araştırma, incelenen işletmelerde yılsonu itibariyle sığır sayısında bir atış olduğunu göstermekle birlikte, işletmelerin sahip olduğu inek sayısında %11.58'lik bir azalma da olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Örgütlenme olgusu ülkelerin kalkınmışlık düzeylerinin belirlenmesinde önemli kriterlerden biridir. Gelişmekte olan ülkelerde olduğu gibi Türkiye’de tarım sektörünün temel sorunlarının başında, üretim aşamasından tüketim aşamasınakadar geçen zaman dilimde özellikle ekonomik örgütlenmedeki yetersizlikler gelmektedir. Çiftçiörgütlerinden biri olan kooperatifler gelişmiş ülkelerde özellikle tarımsal ürünleri pazarlanmasında önemli rol oynamaktadırlar. Örneğin Finlandiya’da et üretiminin %74’ü, süt üretiminin de %96’sıkooperatifler tarafından değerlendirilirken, Polonya’da üretilen sütün %75’i kooperatifler kanalıyla tüketicilere ulaştırılmaktadır. Tarım ürünlerinin işlenmesindekooperatiflerin payı Türkiye’de %1 ile %10 arasında, AB ülkelerinde ise %30 ile %100 arasında değişim göstermektedir. Bununla birlikte Türkiye’de tarım ürünleri piyasaları aracıların egemenliğindedir. Hayvansal ürünlerde üreticiden nihai tüketiciye kadar ürün 6-7 kez, bitkisel ürünlerde 4-5 kez el değiştirmektedir. Gelişmiş ülkelerde busayı 2-3’ü geçmemekte, aracı konumunda olanlar ise genellikle çiftçiörgütleri olmaktadır. Meat productions change hands 6 to7 times, and crops change hands 4 to5 times in the process from farm to final consumption. This number is around 2 to3 times in developed countries. Avrupa Birliği dünyanın en önemli medeniyet projelerinden biridir. Türkiye bu projenin içinde yer alabilmek için yaklaşık 55 yıldır çaba göstermektedir. Birlik içinde tarım politikalarının uygulanmasına yönelik toplam maliyet Avrupa Birliği bütçesinin yarıya yakın kısmının tarım sektörüne ayrılmasına neden olmaktadır. This research was carried out to determine the feed consumption and feed conversion ratio in dairy cattle farms. The data used in the research were gathered from 141 dairy cattle farms in the Hatay province. According to the research results, the average forage crops production area size in the enterprises was 18.13 da, and the share of forage crops cultivation areas in the crop production pattern was determined as 31.07%. The average cattle stock was 11.02 heads, the number of dairy cattle was 4.87 heads, the milk yield per dairy cattle was 5.619 lt/head, and the milk income was calculated as 2.811 US$/head. The roughage consumption of a dairy cattle in the lactation period was 3,139.67 kg, the monetary value of the consumed roughage feed was 371.61 US$, the consumption of concentrated feed and crushed feed was 2958.90 kg, and the monetary value of the consumed concentrated feed was determined as 1118.57 US$. Tarımsal üretimin desteklenmesi günümüzde güncelliğini koruyan önemli konulardan biridir. Ülkeler değişen dünya ticaret kurallarına uymak şartıyla değişen oranlarda tarıma destek vermeye devam etmektedirler. 2014 yılında Türkiye'de tarımsal üretimin desteklenmesine 3,9 milyar$ ayrılmıştır. Tarımsal üretim potansiyelinin yüksek olduğu Hatay ilinde tarıma verilen destek aynı yıl yaklaşık 75milyon$ düzeyinde olmuştur. Hatay İlinin ülke tarımsal desteklerinden aldığı pay %2 düzeyindedir. The development of food sensitivities began to increase along with societal growth. Consumer awareness is gradually increasing with the expansion of accurate and balanced information. In an increasingly consuming world, the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of individuals during the purchasing of food products are important. Findings from research of this kind positively impact the strategies of companies offering the products on the market. The purpose of this study is to examine the level of knowledge and attitudes of individuals living in the Hatay province and what they consider when buying food items. The data were obtained by face to face interviews of 334 consumers in 2008, and were analysed using a 5-point Likert scale. Sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) is one of the most important agricultural crops which is commonly rotated with wheat in Thrace region of Turkey’s European side. The input-output relation of sunflower production via Cobb-Douglas production function was examined in this study. The data used in the study were collected from 571 agricultural enterprises in 53 settlements in five provinces located in Thrace region of Turkey. Estimation of Cobb-Douglas production function indicated decreasing return of scale in sunflower production in Thrace region (sum of input production elasticity = 0.9451). All the variables in the equation were statistically significant at 5 % level and only elasticity coefficient with respect to X 4 (precipitation) was negative. It was also found that seed, fertilizer, pesticide and land input in sunflower production were efficiently used. In Turkey, which ranks the 10 th country worldwide in the sunflower ( Helianthus annuus L. ) production, 60% of the production is carried out in the Thrace Region. Therefore, agricultural enterprises in Thrace, situated in the European part of Turkey, have mastered in producing sunflower, and have become the centre of vegetable oil industry in the region owing to the produced raw material. In this study, it has been aimed to investigate the yield and income of the enterprises producing sunflower in Thrace Region in Turkey, and besides this whether the factors affecting the production are different. Agricultural subsidy is one of the important and substantial issues at this time. Countries are continuing to subsidise agricultural production at varying rates depending on the world’s changing trade rules. Turkey reserved 3,9 billion $ to subsidise agricultural production in 2014. In the same year, the amount of agricultural subsidy in Hatay was around 75 million $. The share of the Hatay province in Turkey’s total agricultural subsidy is around 2%. While the amount of subsidy per farmer is 1.779,924$ in Turkey, it is 3.490,01$ in the Hatay province. Agricultural production in the world is increasing day by day in terms of quantity and value. Quality and input quantity used per unit area take up the most important part of this increase. The value of agricultural production in Turkey has exceeded the level of US$ 60 billion. At this point, particularly from 2000 until today, the most notable contribution was the increase in the amount of input used per unit area and the amount of production of inputs. Until the beginning of 2000, a significant amount of money was spent especially for the import of pesticide and chemical fertilizers in Turkey. Furthermore, the production of these inputs in Turkey showed significant progress over the last 15 years. In this study, the production of certified seeds, concentrate feed and chemical fertilizers as well as the amount of irrigation areas, along with the changes of artificial insemination occurred in Turkey from 2000s until today are investigated.

Hayvansal uretimin onemli bir alt dali olan aricilik dunyada oldugu gibi Turkiye’de de onemli bir gelir kaynagidir. Aricilik faaliyetini onemli kilan asil unsur ise faaliyet sonucunda elde edilen urunlerden ziyade polinasyon yoluyla bitkisel uretimin ve cesitliligin devam etmesine verdigi katkidir. Bu calismada genel olarak Turkiye’de aricilik faaliyetinin mevcut durumunu degerlendirilmistir. Turkiye, 107bin tonluk uretimiyle dunya bal uretiminde Cin’in ardindan ikinci sirada yer almaktadir. Cin yillik bal uretiminin ortalama %25’ini ihrac ederek 250milyon$ gelir elde etmesine ragmen, Turkiye bal uretiminin sadece %3,8’ini dis pazarda degerlendirebilmektedir. Pamuk, kullanim alani genisligi ve farkli sektorlerde saglamis oldugu katma deger bakimindan tarim urunleri icinde ozel bir yere ve oneme sahiptir. Dunya pamuk uretiminde Turkiye 8.sirada yer almaktadir. Hatay Ili Turkiye’nin onemli pamuk uretim alanlarindan birini olusturmaktadir. TUIK verilerine gore 2016 yilinda Turkiye’de 4.160.098 da alanda;  kutlu pamuk uretimi 2.100.000 ton, cigit uretimi 1.260.000 ton, lif uretimi ise 756.000 ton olarak gerceklesmistir. Hatay Ili Turkiye pamuk uretim alanlarinda %11,54, kutlu pamuk, cigit ve lif uretiminde %10,57’lik bir pay almistir. This study was held to show Households’ income distribition and expense amount in rural and urban areas of Hatay Province in the Mediterranean Region. Data used in this study are for the year 2010 and these data were obtained through 715 interviewed and determined by “Probablity Sampling Method” households in rural and district center. Income distribution of households in the survey has been analysed by usaging scales of Interests of Management, Gini coefficient and Lorenz curve. According to results, the difference between the 20% slice of the highest-income and 20% slice of lowest income is 14.7 times in rural areas and 5.9 times in urban areas. The objective of this research is to determine the use of production factors in 3 different types of sunflower production with respect to orobanche resistance in the agricultural enterprises in Thrace Region which is located at European continent of Turkey. The data used in this research have been obtained through questionnaire technique from 571 agricultural enterprises which were determined by Stratified Random Sampling Method in 2009. It has been reached to the highest yield by 189.30 kg da -1 and the highest gross profit by 37.91 US$ da -1 in the production of sunflower, resistant to orobanche. Bu calismada Hatay ilinde faaliyet gosteren sut sigirciligi isletmelerinin ekonomik yonden degerlendirilmesi yapilmistir. Arastirmada kullanilan veriler, tabakali tesadufi ornekleme yontemi ile belirlenen 24 yerlesim birimindeki 141 sut sigirciligi isletmesinden elde edilmistir. Isletmelerde sut sigirciligi subesinin varliklari toplami (aktif sermaye) 11366985 TL olup, hayvan sermayesinin payi %56.18’dir.  Isletmelerde ortalama sigir sayisi 11.04 bas, inek sayisi ise 4.87 bastir.  Isletmelerde ortalama sut uretimi yaklasik olarak 27.4 tondur. Sagmal ineklerde ortalama sut verimi 18.73 lt/bas olarak tespit edilmistir. Sut sigirciligi faaliyetinde degisen masraflar toplami 2.3 milyon TL, sabit masraflar ise 1.3 milyon TL olarak belirlenmistir. Degisen masraflar icinde yem giderlerinin payi ise %80’dir. In this study the effects of both premium support application on sunflower cultivation area, production amount and support payments on producer income are investigated. In this study it is concluded that premium supports are inefficient on increasing sunflower cultivation area and production whereas it is concluded that it has an important role on producer income and in the determination of the market price. In fact, from a survey that we have carried out, it emerges that the area-based support (diesel oil, fertilizer etc. support) together with premium support increase the revenue of sunflower up to 27.74% per unit area and the gross profit in the proportion of 98.87%. Pamuk Turkiye’de ve dunyada sanayi bitkileri icinde en fazla ekim alanina ve uretime sahip, ihracat Pazar degeri yuksek olan, gida ve yem sanayinde onemli yer tutan stratejik bir urundur. Pamuk, kullanim alani genisligi ve farkli sektorlerde saglamis oldugu katma deger bakimindan tarim urunleri icinde ozel bir yere ve oneme sahiptir. Dunya pamuk uretiminde Turkiye 7.sirada yer almaktadir. Arastirma alani olarak belirlenen Hatay Ili Turkiye pamuk uretim alanlarinda %11,54, kutlu pamuk, cigit ve lif uretiminde %10,57’lik bir paya sahiptir. The purpose of this study was presenting capital structure of dairy cattle enterprises in Hatay Province, and assessing the development in the sector. In this context, data were gathered from 141 dairy cattle enterprises that were from 24 villages of 12 districts by using of face-to-face interview method, and Stratified Sampling Method was used to determine sample size. According to the research results, animal existence had the biggest ratio in active capital with 56%, and ratio of owner's equity in passive capital was found as 92,21%, and these findings had resemblance with previous studies about dairy cattle. Among the enterprises which were examined, there was an increasing in the number of cattle by the end of the year, however there was a 11,58% of decreasing in the number of cow. Research and development (RD economically it’s being among the first 10 countries in the world, 25 thousands of US$ per capita income, and 500 billions of US$ export volume, it is necassary to invest more in R&D activities. Turkey’s R&D expenses were 20,6 billions of TL in 2015, and the share in GDP was 1,06%. Among the R&D expenses, the share of agricultural sciences was around 4,49%. While the R&D budget for agriculture that was provided by Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock was 5 millions of TL in 2010, this number had reached to 14,5 millions of TL. Univerities have the biggest share with 69,66% in terms of the projects that were subsidized. According to data, it is neccessary to increase R&D budgets to the level of developed countries.

Tarim sektoru, ulke ekonomisindeki yeri gelismislik duzeylerine bagli olarak ulkeden ulkeye degisiklik gostermekle birlikte, saglamis oldugu uretim degeri yaninda sosyo-ekonomik olcekteki kazanimlari bakimindan onemini hicbir donemde kaybetmemistir. Turkiye ekonomisinde tarim sektorunun payi %7,4 olmasina ragmen, sektorun uretim degeri 2000-2013 yillarinda 26,8 milyar ABD$’dan 60,9 milyar ABD$ duzeyine ulasmistir.
