[go: up one dir, main page]

Ha oh wow I actually forgot to put this up on my itch :O Alright let's just release it right now at 2AM! According to github I made this in october 2019, but I think the first prototype was made months before that.

It is a variant of my puzzle game 'mean8', but this game is more open-ended and includes random elements. The goal is still to make an eight from the numbers that the conveyor belts spit out. Apparently this version is the easy one where undo kinda works but that's alright you might need the leeway.

The key in the game bar includes helpful tips and gifs, if you're not the explorey type you shouldn't feel any shame in just checking them right away. I certainly won't judge you ;) Access the hints menu by pressing H and the level select by pressing L.

You mention hints in the description, but I don't think the gamebar is implemented in this version?

With that said, it's surprisingly possible, given how complex the interactions are, to infer what's going on. It does create a strange dynamic though where I'm really curious what the 5 and 6 reduction powers do, but can't quite bring myself to downsize and find out.. But given how hard it was to get to 7, I think I might have to explore that path :)

Some things do feel like they're at the limit of infer-ability — I've noticed that the push (4 reduction) power can leave behind a tile after it's been used. But have yet to deduce what it does!

Alright so I've looked into it a bit and can't fix it (for now). The game bar loads but does not display. I did find out however that you can still access the hints menu with H and the level select with L. There's hints and helpful gifs up until level 4,so feel free to skip around if you'd like to spoil yourself ;)

Hi yeah so PedroPSI fixed the game bar bug <3
