Opportunities to reinvent or transition from one life chapter to a new one is your chance to reset, but a reset doesn’t have to mean a complete do-over.

Everything we learn and encounter gets added to past experiences, building upon the layers of our foundation. We grow in wisdom with each new layer, even though it can feel like we’re starting over.

Change can feel incredibly challenging if we cling to self-doubt or worry about others’ perceptions.

I’m a creature of habit. I find comfort and security in the rhythm of repeating patterns, familiar places, and predictable patterns.

Unfortunately, health issues forced me to pivot and try new careers and projects, but I feared others would judge my reinventions as failures, so I spent years worrying about public perception.

The constant worry only fueled my Impostor Syndrome, which sapped my joy and made me feel stuck.

Still, I learned to embrace fear and relish the thrill of trying new things, figuring out the logistics of new projects, and other geeky stuff.
