Embrace Fear?

There are some things you never outgrow. Fear is one of them.

Do you ever think, “I’m too old for this.”

Do you think about quitting a job or business because you feel aged out?

Or you may feel less fulfilled in your job or business and want to try something new. Perhaps you don’t see the results you want or once had and feel discouraged about staying invested.

What holds us back from starting something new?

Fear, right?

The fear of failure, the unknown, or rejection can paralyze us or cause us to over-analyze.

What will happen if I stay?

Will anything change if I leave?

How will I start over?

Can I do this?

What will other people think?

But what if we embrace fear as an opportunity for growth?

Feel the fear and do it anyway.

Author Susan Jeffers famously said, “Feel the fear and do it anyway.” This philosophy encourages us to acknowledge our fears but not let them dictate our actions. It’s about stepping out of our comfort zones and realizing that many things we fear most are not as daunting as they seem.
