I began making experimental games during the Shanghai COVID lockdown of spring 2022, when I was confined to my apartment for two months. It was around this time that I also learned to both deeply fear and fully embrace the coming A.I.

I am particularly interested in the strangely familiar side of A.I., in the way that it can somehow both serve as a telling reflection of our own world, while at the same time serve as a window into a completely alternate reality.

My game Unprompted is an exploration of both A.I.-generated art and text. Type to guess the words used to create the A.I. artworks, while slowly uncovering A.I.'s reflections on its own work.
