Sojourners Trail is a web-based, immersive game experience that teaches participants about the Black Speculative Arts Movement (commonly called "Afrofuturism"). It is based on previous work, including the Wakanda Syllabus and the edited collection, Cities Imagined. Designed at Monmouth University in 2018 and 2019, its elements formed the core of the multi-site exhibit, Afrofuturist Design, at the Guggenheim Library, the T. Thomas Fortune Cultural Center, and the Main Street Gallery (Freehold, NJ).

Black Quantum Futurism advocates for structural revolution in housing markets internationally through the application of art, art education, and social justice. The Prime Meridian Unconference, hosted by the New School, Parsons Institute of Design, and the Vera List Center, focused on the use of chronological protocols that have disrupted human existence over the last two centuries. The specific adoption of Greenwich Mean Time in the late nineteenth century signaled the triumph of the commodification of humanity. BQF invited a dozen scholars, activists, and artists to present new work that offers the possibility of redefining time protocols in the twenty-first century.

The Harry T. Burleigh Legacy Alliance funded the creation of the Legacy Archive based on the collected papers of Ada Lawrence and Johnny Johnson in Erie, Pennsylvania. The archive was organized and catalogued in 2022, creating an exhibit design as well as multiple digital platforms for the distribution of the new primary sources. The effort shows some of the most innovative and interdisciplinary techniques in the digital humanities.

The evolution of the relationships between debt, segregation, and the racial wealth gap continue to evolve. New research from the University of Minnesota, Brandeis University, and Harvard University contribute to a new understanding of enduring barriers to racial justice and equity in the United States. The combination of historical research in conjunction with public policy analysis and data visualization allows more scholarship to emerge, while engaging a global public in complex negotiations about institutional action.
