ESEAP presentation

edit

Thanks for your great presentation about correlating Wiki page views with syllabus importance in anatomy curricula. You mentioned that one of the challenges was matching concepts with wikipedia articles. I wondered if you used or considered using a Mix'n'Match set for this? --99of9 (talk) 00:19, 20 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello 99of9! I am glad you enjoyed the presentation. I did not use the Mix'n'Match set because we did it manually. Could you please let me know what that is? I am sure it would be helpful. --Athikhun.suw (talk) 00:24, 20 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'll try to catch you at lunch. I didn't get time to go through MnM in the presentation. --99of9 (talk) 01:27, 20 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Since there's already a property (actually I few, I've just picked one), this WDQS query shows all the items that are already matched to WD items and en-wiki articles: [1]. There is also already a Mix'n'Match set [2] which is currently 58.6% matched (out of 7444 identifiers). --99of9 (talk) 03:31, 20 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Wow! The results look impressive. One arising issue is that the terms listed in the terminologia anatomica are restricted to anatomical structures. Anatomical concepts and some clinical conditions are still lacking, which is rather the limitation of the TA itself. But anyway, 58.6% match is more than one could ask for. Saving a lot of time. Thank you! I will now take a look more thoroughly at the results and we’ll see how mine stacks up agains yours. —Athikhun.suw (talk) 04:50, 20 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
