You could actually hear the audience go “Aw” when a character died, proof that this is a good movie.

The Four Sheepish Dummies 1983
4 Charlie Chaplins get into shenanigans that I have to admit, made me smile, helps that one of them is played by Hsu Pu-Liao who's an actor I'm starting to find really likable. At one point they go into a cinema and find a corpse, but that's not what's important, the movie playing is Fantasy Mission Force, director Kevin Chu self referencing himself for the win. There's also one really impressive motercycle chase scene and some mummies, good stuff, watched a copy that was barley discernible, the crappiest quality ever so one must overcome major obstacles to understand true art

Going from Philip Quast as Javert in this, then to Russell Crowe as Javert in the movie is like having your best friend serve you a lovely pie and years later having that same friend kick you in the balls for 2 hours and 40 minutes.
