Attack the Block 2011
loved how freaky/unique the aliens looked in this and whenever you'd hear their wailing in the distance itd make you uneasy. some great action, a lil bit of comedy, and a fire redemption arc for Moses. quite the smashing film bruv innit?

Princess Mononoke 1997
i will die on the hill that this is the best Ghibli movie. caught this on the last day it was playing in my local theater and man, what an experience. a truly deep message about Human vs. Nature and how we get so stuck in the polarization of picking a side, not realizing that we’re all ONE human race on this ONE planet TOGETHER. the fact that this was made in 97 is insane, wayyy ahead of it’s time. this is EASILY one of the greatest adventure movies ever made. that last 30 minutes is SO fucking wild and mindblowing, everybody needs to see this
