I spent my youth forming memories of my dad through watching home videos. Although the camera was rarely pointed at him I would hear narration and mannerisms and that became my understanding of him.
Home videos are funny, ghostly and highly addictive. I can relate to sitting in front of the tv and rewinding it back again and again. Now completely digital, I still treat those videos as the most valuable thing in my life.
