    Hooptober 11….Two movies from Texas

A Review of Warlock Moon OR Is Everyone in Texas Maniacs?

In of itself, Warlock Moon isn’t exactly a masterpiece of horror. When you juxtapose it against the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, interesting things come out. Two youths find a long-abandoned spa that houses axe-wielding cannibals or maybe not. (it's one of those ambiguous type films)
This is what Texas Chainsaw could have been if made by lesser hands. Low-budget bad acting and boring with…

This one hit me over the head so many times I'm pretty sure I have a concussion.
I guess it could be considered original if Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and Dorian Gray didn't exist.

    Hooptober 11….1 movie 2 cuts

A Review of Zombie: Dawn of the Dead Or Spaghetti Zombies

So, this is Dario Argento’s cut of Dawn of the Dead and I don’t particularly care for it.
The musical cues are all wrong and lots of the human moments that made the film special are cut out. I suppose these changes were made to make the film more palatable to Italian audiences but I’ll take my theatrical cut any day of the week.
