The entire runtime I couldn’t stop thinking about how rare this kind of ambition is nowadays and how I will probably never anything like it made again.
“Was it good?” Irrelevant.
This was a singular vision executed at a scale that modern studios will never allow filmmakers to dream of attempting. This is how blockbusters SHOULD feel. -

Once you get over the disappointment that this is not Fury Road 2, it’s actually a v fun movie!
A striking alternative to the current mainstream action blockbuster.

The Ninth Configuration 1980
Every scene goes on too long. Every situation is unmotivated. Does that annoying thing where scenes have repeat information? I’m trying to think of something nice to say about this movie and I guess it’s shot sort of….differently. Not worth the run time.
