Loved how quiet and simple the story is. Just places some interesting characters in a situation together and let's it unfold without overly forced plot machinations. Culkin is as good as advertised, and Eisenberg's direction isn't overly fussy. Genuinely funny and touching, although in retrospect I'm fairly angry at the trailer for giving away as much of the humor and emotional beats as it does (H/T Wes for this observation). Avoid it if you can.

Trap 2024
This movie is like its main character - meticulous and extremely goofy. I enjoyed!
The goofiest part might be the concert stuff. Like...what pop star is hosting concerts in the afternoon? What arena concerts have breaks during the headliner's set so they can "set up for the next song?? Why are there so many people milling about in the middle of the concert that they probably spent a ton of money on? Why is the men's room at this tween pop star's show as packed as if it were a football game? So many questions.

Good film! Definitely check it out, just make sure you add "movie" after the title when looking for showtimes. And maybe use a VPN.
