One of the sleaziest films I've ever seen; the title card practically dripped saliva. The movie plays its hand in the opening minute by playing Misirlou full-blast. "You know Tarantino's cool, fun style? We're like that! But French!" And yet the film made me long for the respectful and introspective way Tarantino writes women, as so much misogyny was on display, it had me wondering whether the title was some kind of double-entendre. Women in this film are to be screwed in between fast car-rides, treated with even less respect than the rules of the road. A thankless role for Marion Cotillard.
