Sad because I know Dakota Johnson has that IT factor, I’ve seen it in The Lost Daughter, but never again. This movie’s heart does not align with its logic. Young lesbian is scared to be out and pursue that, but nothing homophobic happens to her that would show us that she has any reason to be worried. Her friends are happy for her, ex bf supportive, nobody in public is weird, heaps of hot women wanting to dance w her,…

I think Yorgos has a million of these fucked up stories in his back pocket. I don’t know if these 3 all connected or had a central theme. BUT the stories were interesting, the acting was superb, and the visuals were great. Idk. Def feel like I gotta let it marinate in my mind for a bit.

Always happy to see a visually unique film. There are so many beautiful scenes and the main actress delivers a great monologue at the end. Also love the themes of childhood nostalgia, attachment to media, and adulthood misplacement. I think the script could’ve used a bit more tightening and concepts could’ve been less poetic and more grounded. The Phoebe Bridgers cameo was a jump scare lol. Really excited to see what Jane does next.
