Facilities housekeeper loves her "work family"
Having worked at Virginia Tech for seven years, Facilities Housekeeper Susan Hypes wishes she had come to the university long ago. She refers to the faculty and staff in the Student Services building as her "work family," and greets almost everyone by their name. "My mom always taught me that the best form of respect is when you greet someone, greet them by their name," said Hypes.
