So i've been wandering to find strange gold but still cant find it, can someone tell me how/where i can get the strange gold.

When you got the uniforms of Amagal in their wooden barracks area, then you can get past a guard in the castle of Manastyr to a teleporter, which brings you to the dungeon where you can make the strange gold.
