Like the concept and art style of your game. And it ran well in the browser, good stuff!
I managed to get a time of 151.04 thanks to a little speed glitch- if you crouch and sprint into any corner, the default walk speed increases by a lot for the remainder of the run.
I've also found you can softlock yourself by throwing batteries out of the map. To recreate this bug you could try throwing them into a corner while moving. This can be accidental if you're making your way onto the charging pad and release the battery at just the right moment.
Really fun game though, enjoyed playing it :)
Thanks for playing! The win condition is to have an internal score meter above 1 points. Turning off a building gives 1 point, whenever a building switches on, 1 point gets deducted. The lowest the internal counter will go is -2, so essentially you could wait until the last 2 seconds spam click on 4 buildings to get the win state.
Thank you for the input and glad you enjoyed a bit of button mashing :)
Hi there, thanks for playing and the feedback. The buildings turn on at random time intervals, there's a 1-2sec wait time before any building's light comes on.
I like the idea of actually setting up a pattern and making some stages to the game though, so that each level could actually be beat. Thanks a lot for the input :)
I like this one, between the art style and the concept of having a searchlight to see it was really cool. I got overconfident with standing still and spamming Z + X until the ships that shoot back appear, I like the fact that I couldn't cheese this :)
Good job, and well done for finishing a game jam!
Hey, thanks for the feedback - I appreciate it!
So the idea behind the grilling sprite is that when you shoot an egg that spawns, it explodes and cooks nearby ducks.
About this bug - do you remember if you had the game on fullscreen or was it playing in a smaller window? Good suggestions for the possible causes too - thanks. I've not actually encountered the bug myself but I'll keep attempting to replicate. Maybe it's something to do with how the specific browser (presuming you played it in the browser?) renders things in the HTML canvas. Could you please let me know if you used Chrome or FF or something else?
But yeah, thanks for the time to check this out!
