I love this exhibit!

Just got this from the Palestine bundle. Good work on these!

amazing

I do like it! I think the camera should be on center or more to the right to better show oncoming obstacles. I really like the art style too

In case you can't see the user ratings, here's mine:

The game is very aesthetically pleasing and definitely has that NES charm to it. However, the random enemy encounters are quite ruthless with their attacks, as most of the time I'm left sitting there waiting for their multiple-hit attack to end after like 8 hits in a row. Otherwise, this game is a bit more laid back compared to some other rpg maker games out there that tend to introduce too many things at once.

nice

adorable!

Thanks for the review! I will definitely be changing something about how the different NPCs interact in the game if I am to fix it after the jam.

Thanks for playing and leaving a review!

The sounds and graphics are nice! I do wish that the ball was easier to control. Sometimes, I was really close to the server, and they didn't even hit it because it was ever so slightly out of reach, or I was on the wrong side of their racket.

What everyone else said basically XD

also maybe the game is a little loud, and the sounds are quite repetitive.

Anyways, cute sheep (I love sheep that's why I clicked)

I like the cute character and the animations! My main criticism is with the execution of the concept. Since hitting the star makes it so you can move the fruit, but not the bombs, the player is compelled not to switch roles at all so they don't get harmed by the bombs. What I would do to change this is make the role reversal timed, the bombs controllable as well (But maybe faster than the fruit to make things challenging), and maybe make things more hectic as the roles are about to be swapped.

giving myself pink eye just playing this game. Nice!

I have a bug where the mouse position isn't registered correctly because of windowed mode which I can't get out of, but other than that I like the gameplay loop.

It's not entirely clear to me wat you're supposed to do to each type of knight, but I like the way the game looks.

I think it might be too difficult but I do like the art style

This is a really good game. The puzzles are nice and challenging, and the gameplay is really relaxing.

This is great! I think it would do amazingly as a mobile game of some sort. All it needs is a bit more player feedback (Like knowing for certain if you've hit something), more sfx, and less wonky controls.

The game is very cute and it feels nice to play and cause rampage! My only main concern (Which I'm sure you've heard already) is that the text resolution in the upgrade screen is way too low. If you're going for a pixelated look in the text, I recommend using a pixelated font to begin with.

It's not immediately obvious how you're supposed to control and do things in the game, but after you learn, it's quite the relaxing experience! I would like an option to mute the music though, because after a while it's pretty repetitive.

It's very well presented, and I think it would make a great relaxing-type game, but I was able to clear any level by simply spamming R and Space lol

really nice aesthetics and music! I think there should be a bit more variety in the levels, even with all the mechanics introduced. What I mean is that I would like to see the levels get increasingly more complex as the game progresses. At first, there's one or two simple level pieces, but later on, each piece of the level is a puzzling obstacle. I see a lot of potential here!

I like the swapping feature. It lets you strategize for a bit. Also, the gunplay feels good!

Dude this is sick! I didn't know you could do this in rpg maker. Anyways, really creative idea!

This is by far one of the best realized mechanics this game jam. I love the idea of swapping material properties to solve portal-esque puzzles! I didn't like the awkward platforming though, so If you were to update this, I'd like to see a better jump, and movement smoothing.

haha thanks for the list lmao

Thank you for playing!

Thanks for playing! I intentionally made it zoomed in so you could hear when he's coming instead. I thought that it would make it more clear where the player was, but I suppose it unintentionally made things more confusing elsewhere.

Wow. Just, wow. The gameplay loop is extremely satisfying, and the aesthetics are impeccable! This is one of those games I could see my self spending hours just playing as I zone out. Amazing job!

Thanks for playing! Originally, the ghosts were going to help you out, but the pathfinding system got too complex to figure out, so I had to scale it back.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the review! The buttons on the lose and win screens say "Start" because I was just feeling lazy :3

I like the dynamic lighting in the game! It's like a 2D ray tracer

Love the art style!

I love the presentation and the 3d animation references!

d'awwwww!

I enjoyed the music, and this game reminds me of that one Blooket minigame!

I like how you constantly have to think ahead of your own actions. Basically, YOU decide the difficulty!

thanks! I just might add more things based on all the feedback I've been getting.
