PS, also I wish the enemies had scaled up a little more aggressively. After level 3 my base didnt take any hits at all because i had outscaled the enemies so hard

fantastic entry! I loved watching all my little autonomous minions run around performing their duties :)
I could see how this game could really naturally be extended in the future!

One small piece of feedback - I wish only the enemies health bars were red, and not my units. It made it a bit visually confusing which units were mine or not when they all have red health.

Overall, really really fun and polished

nice job! i liked the music a lot. i could tell the dialogue was very carefully thought out and written :) also the desert storm shader in the dark regions was very neat

The art is so charming :)
Also the day/night cycle was very creative! Good job!

hi! thanks!

1. it's her standard art style, meant to be cute and silly.
2. All the art was on Procreate (ipad) and all the gameplay was on Godot.
3. Not particularly challenging, often its nice to have art to guide the layout and feel of the gameplay
4. make stuff! do lots of game jams! find your niche :)

ah, that's too bad! must be a godot compatibility issue or something. do you have a different browser you could try?

lovely aesthetic and fun loop :) i wish it would tell me why i died, though. it took me a few tries to understand everything that was going on, but once i got it it was very charming

very cute art style :) i like the zombie animation

High score:  $220

this was fun! good job!

based as fuck

I've had multiple people comment on my submission complaining that there are no ghosts, even though the theme is not technically required.

I feel that this is a common and recurring problem with minijam that hurts a developers chances of winning, and leads to a less cohesive body of submissions.  In future jams, I would suggest waiting to announce the theme until the jam starts, making it required, and getting rid of the required "limitation" altogether, which tends to be overly constraining and unrelated to the theme.

thank you! :D

thank you!!

thank you!!! :D

> This jam's theme is Ghosts. Remember, theme is purely inspirational and not required.

I don't like the way minijam is set up. I wish they would just make the theme required, and stop doing the additional required limitation. glad you liked it though!!

hahaha thank you

yeah the built in physics of the engine im using leave a little bit to be desired :/ the colliders themselves were larger than the visual thinness, but each tile is still its own separate collider, which creates the getting stuck in walls situation often.

glad you liked it though! :D

wow!! thanks!!
