I am a sensitive man. That does not make me less of a man. In my opinion, the world needs more empathy not less. 

I’m not even going to give that statement the value of a response. This is so ridiculous that I’m not going to engage in a discussion anymore. This story isn’t for you. Please stop harassing the itch.io community with your need to fit everyone into these boxes.  Thank you. A man can be sensitive and a woman can be rational. That doesn’t make them not a man or not a woman.

“every man should be masculine and every woman should be feminine” is not an objective fact. There are scales to how “”masculine or “feminine” anyone is. Not that it matters because these gender roles are socially constructed  so technically masculine and feminine don’t technically objectively exist. I have a friend who lights candles every time he takes a bath. Is he not masculine then? If he cries a lot but he hunts, does that mean he’s “feminine”. Respectfully, this comment is beyond ignorant. “Feminine” and “masculine” traits are in your mind and there is no objective measure that makes someone definitively masculine or feminine. This is ridiculous. It’s not quantifiable. Not that masculinity or femininity even defines the worth of a person or every person has to be one or the other. My suggestion is to no longer be on itch.io and try to go back to the 1950’s.

femininity and masculinity are a spectrum so it’s not really clear what that would entail anyway and there are certain things that would be offensive to people if automatically assumed feminine based on any person’s own individual definition of feminine. Long story short: that is something that is very divisive and not something that can be implemented very easily. Sorry but by catering to your interests, the author easily could be going against the interests of others. I don’t care either way, I’m okay with whatever the author decides but strong opinions do exist.

To all the dislikes, are you disliking just because this person is NB? If so, that’s terrible. Let people be who they are. Inclusivity is good for everyone. Everyone deserves to play IF games. If someone wants something changed on the NB path, why do you care if you’re not NB?

Don’t listen to them Alahria. They only speak for themselves. You can’t please everyone but you’ve pleased most people including me. Their one comment stands on its own. The rest of us don’t feel this way. Keep writing the great way you write.
