I really enjoyed this! The theme and the art style are so unique. Makes me wish there was more to the demo ⭐

There was nothing really out of place other than very minor things:

  • No collision on a lot of rocks/fallen trees
  • Getting stuck in one of the water pools (I just wriggled around a bit to break free)
  • I don't know if it's just me, but the screen is a bit jittery when moving horizontally

Can't wait to see more of this and already put it on my Steam wishlist πŸ˜€

Great work on the update πŸ₯³

So glad you took the time to revist this one. Had so much fun playing it again and this time managed to get to the final boss πŸ˜€

Intrested to know if you have any more plans to develop this further? 😊 (e.g more levels)

Music was so good! I love the music you do in your game espcially this one πŸ˜€πŸŽΆ

Really Cute Game!

Love the pixel like art style πŸ˜€

Wow thank you so much for the in-depth feedback πŸ˜ƒ

Alot of the balancing issues came from a bit of indecisiveness when trying to implement a load of ideas at once πŸ˜… on reflection I would have liked to have the cool down bar recharge and not instantly jump back to full 😊

Yes the bounciness of bullets. That's a story and a half 🀣 so I put all the building in but only put collision on the first 5 or 6 and forgot to do it on the rest.. to get around this just put a long strip of collision on either side of the player... It's rough but kinda worked. I had alot of problems with bullets not behaving consistently. I found when I just put an alive timer on it kinda gave a the result I was looking for and liked they bounced a bit so just left it like that 😊

Tweaking the enemies turned out to be the hardest part. When I had them I was a bit like "now what do I do". Wish I had made some different mechanics other then they just run at you or shoot πŸ˜‚

I am glad you managed to get to the boss. You did very well to get up to that point (embarrassingly in my own game I sometimes struggled to get there in testing 🀣). Yeah I needed to add some more spice to keep it interesting (which was going to being leveling system but they got abandoned on the last day) but it just never worked out unfortunately

Thank you again for taking the time to write your feedback it honestly means a lot 😊 I have also seen you have gone to other and wrote quite the breakdown of their games and I commend you for your efforts as I am sure it means a lot to those guys aswell 🌟

Definitely did enjoy it 😊 just re read my comment and just to stress other then the bit with tutorial the rest of the game was spot on πŸ˜€πŸ™Œ

Thank you for you feedback 😊

Ahhh I did worry that would happen with some people as I didn't do much optimising. One thing I was going to do was export to a Windows download build just incase people had issues with playing through browser but never got round to it.

Thank you though for for giving it a go still it's very much appreciated ☺️

Thank you for your feedback 😊

Thank you for your feedback 😊

Gimic/bug is the same thing in my eyes πŸ˜‚ so the shotgun bullet shooting was kind intentional which is a rarity for me. My original idea for this was to have a left click button do different attacks depending on how long you held it down and then released it (1 second one shot, 2 seconds shotgun, 3 seconds Lazer for example)

As you can tell that didn't happen but a bit of it did sneak in πŸ˜‰

Sheffield has changed alot over the years πŸ˜‚

Feels like the  would be a game sequel to Threads the moive 😊

Not bad for 48 hours at all. Blood effects and scratch marks worked amazingly

Thank you for your feedback ☺️

I totally agree it was missing something and those things would have elevated the experience. I think I just got so distracted making enemies I just kinda forgot to go back and work on those things πŸ˜…

I was worried about what you might think about the contrast cause I had a nightmare balancing that in this game. Making it light enough to see but not so light that I would have to call it "Cyber Day" πŸ˜‚ Ended up building this game 4 times just cause of contrast πŸ˜… I will take it that it wasn't mentioned comment that it was fine ☺️

Oh wow I streamed Rayman 1 like years ago. I can remember getting to a musical world where everything wanted to kill me. I think i got to the boss of that world and then I just had to call it a day πŸ˜‚ Such a cute game but difficult

I can see the inspriation now that you mentioned Rayman 1 😊

I feel stupid. I was stood still for my first play through cause I didnt know I could run around and jump at first πŸ˜‚

Once I got moving it actually liked the motion of shooting. Felt similar to doom in movement. The simple neon art aswell gave it its own sense of style.

My main feedback there needed to be an end goal or some kind of advancement in the game. Also you can jump forever πŸͺ½

Music and sound effects were on point and like the idea. The motion of the background elemts is also well done 🎨

I was thinking this reminded me of a game on the NES and just seen you put about that in you description πŸ˜€

I love the idea and the game is definately a challenge πŸ˜…

I did play this when the submission first came out but really struggled so thought I would try again. Tried it now and still cant get very far. I feel that might very much be a me issue though just not having the skills needed πŸ˜‚

Love the art style and the player character looks so cool/cute😎🎨

I absolutely loved the fake names for the companies. Made me chuckle πŸ˜‚

Nice little game but I didn't feel much in control of what was happening. I have read the comments here about not being able to skip offers and I will be honest I didn't know I could do that.

Style of the game definitely hit the wall street cyber vibe 😊

I love the circuit board loo! I feel its the best name I have seen to capture that look a game.

I was going to say how hard it was and that I got stuck at the end... then I found out I could shoot πŸ˜… After I worked that out had a lot of fun with this one.

Did have a glitch where I had to do the final boss twice. Half way through the second time it said I won.

Nice idea for a game. Trippy playing as a character playing a arcade game πŸ•ΉοΈ

Loved the sound effects and the visual art style. Really felt like a unique world you stepping into.

My only feedback would be a bit more explanation about the rewiring or a guide the first time you do it. Might just be me but I was very confused at first one what to do. Once I got past that I had a blast πŸ˜ƒ

Thank you for your feedback 😊

Yeah I think I am showing my age with the kind of style I went for! I was saved by the motion blur which I only did 20 minutes before submitting!

Yes totally agree about progress. Wish I had spent some time but was worried about breaking anything πŸ˜… I should of made it clear there is a boss at the end.. but will be honest on play throughs did wonder "how will anyone know there is a boss"

Next time think I will put some story in to point that out ☺️

You can never go wrong with chaos in my eyes πŸ˜‚πŸ”₯

You should definitely keep going and can't wait to see how this or future projects develop 😊

Thank you for your feedback πŸ˜€

Yes enemy variation was something I really wanted in this Jam entry. Last time I made a game for a jam in only had one enemy and was really disappointed.. so made a collection of enemies to flesh it out a bit this time 😊

Thank you for the feedback and glad you found it fun 😊

I suck at shooters aswell πŸ˜… have no idea what came over me choosing to make this haha

Bonjour πŸ₯

I love the idea you are going for and the animation is amazing. I love the flapping of the wings and when the enemy puts its wings infront of its face. I personally found it rather difficult but then again I dont have the fastest of reacations πŸ˜‚

Art style was on point aswell and loved the glowing green on the wings.

I feel a tutorial would have helped as didnt realise i could hold the mouse button down at first and how to use the colored areas

So glad I came back to rate this as I love the idea and i love the style you gone for

Graphically nice to look at and I love the dialogue that i am assumingsomeone on the team recorded. There was only a few instances where sometimes the vine to extend out would go through the wall but other then that didnt come into any game breaking bugs πŸ˜€

One thing of note. When i fired up the game there was no sound and had to go into options to turn it up. Dont know if that was meant to be default 😊

Great use of the limitation having the button in the game be the one with 2 functions!

Thank you for you feedback 😊

Yeah I did try and put a counter measure in the if you hold down the shoot/slowdown time button it does shoot 3 bullets at a time. I will be honest never tested it out though rapidly clicking so will have to test that out next time I get to my PCπŸ˜…

Didn't notice that so does just sound like a me issue πŸ˜…

Will give it another go tomorrow cause that was holding me back from progressing much further

"Your network blongs to me now"

I like the idea and I feel this being expanded on would make a great game. Took over the master node which was alot of fun

A game requiring skill... something I realise I dont have πŸ˜‚

Was fun to work out and was actually a great achivement getting the star. Btw incase you havent tried it also works on mobile (Andriod) which is a plus in my book πŸ˜€

Thank you for the kind comment πŸ˜€ Haha it was intended... only after I discovered it was happening πŸ˜‚

I can see where you are going with this an with more time feel this could be something really great.

Love the honesty about the limitation. Burst out laughing reading it πŸ˜‚

Love the idea and the implimentation of the limitation. I was confused at first but as soon as i worked it out I thought it was neat way to progress through the level by shooting the switchs. Art style is nice aswell

Only major feedback i would give what sometimes i could sprint using left shift. Dont know if that was just a problem my side. Sometimes it worked and other it didnt. Other then that a solid game and alot of fun πŸ˜€

Loved the art style of the comic scenes at the beginning and at the end of the level. I feel more games should tell a story like that. I will be honest had no idea what it meant but my brain just made it up from the pictures 😊

I love the style of the game and feel it could be further developed into something great πŸ’Ύ

I feel like its quite confusing without some tutorial or visual guide to follow. I died many a time but couldnt work out why in the end

Wow that game got my blood pumping!

Loved the music and how it fitted in with the gameplay. I always feel those 2 elements being matched together elevates an experince.

My only feedback would be its a bit tough, but thats only a minor point. Honestly the experince has me so hyped i dont think i will be able to sleep tonight lol

Love the style of the art and the music 🎨🎢

I found this way to difficult. That is probably just a skill issue with myself but feel they could be some more easier levels to begin with 😊

You found the super secert way to speed through the game πŸ˜‰

Only kidding i did test that with one dog but not with multiple πŸ˜‚ should have added more mass to to player!

Good find πŸ”

Wow what an amazing idea for a game! That was so much fun like a tower defense, mixed with vampire surivours mixed with snake! All classics just never thought they could all go together so well!

You must look at getting this developed futher into a full game!

Wow i fell in love with this game. So simple and so much fun!

Have nothing bad to say. Literally been sat here ages in the zone and loving it. The sound, music, art, gameplay just make this a 5 star game to me ⭐
