Glad you like it!

Hayir. ama bir kaç kelime anlıyorum.

That's really cool! Tesekkürler!

There is no gravity. It’s a platformer done in a top down adventure engine. Thanks for playing.

Yes, as this is done in an engine that is meant for adventure-/zelda-style games. :)

Thanks for playing! Glad you like it!

**Hello world**

I have released a new tool at gifboy.io.

With gifboy you can create tiny GIF animations by writing Lua code. The name of a GIF file is at the same time its code. Animations are created on-the-fly and can be easily shared and remixed. Try it out.

More information: https://pocketfruit.itch.io/gifboy

COOL! Thank you!

Thank you!

Please try again now. Have updated the game to fix the problem.

I have sent you the p8 cartridge for the DX version (to your email) - you can load and run this via the pico-8 tool. Enjoy! And Happy New Year! :DDD

Hi. Sorry to hear that. I have no experience regarding Raspberry Pi - the linux build is a stand-alone build that needs SDL (and other dependencies). Maybe there is a dependency missing? Can you run the PICO-8 tool in general on your device?

This is awesome!

Thanks. Means a lot 🙂!

Hi everyone,

I have just released a new game called 'Trails' on itch.io - as part of the PICO-8 Advent Calendar 2018 (https://itch.io/c/428301/pico-8-advent):

https://pocketfruit.itch.io/trails

'Trails' is a small puzzler where friends need to work together to get to the goal - celebrating friendship and the spirit of Christmas.
📱Fully playable on mobile and with gamepad 🎮.

I think that Trails is one of these games that have some very few simple rules and gameplay elements, but the combination of these will result in some very complex and challenging levels.

I would love to hear what you think and include your feedback into the game.

Cheers, Matt

Thanks - will look into it.

If you are up for a short horror experience, this game of mine might be something for you: Red//Black

Hi everyone,

I have just released a new game called 'Red//Black' on itch.io:

https://pocketfruit.itch.io/red-black-two-horror-short-stories

'Red//Black' is a small experimental horror game done with the PICO-8 engine. My goal was to achieve a story-driven game with the PICO-8 engine. The game was made for the PICO-8 Monster Mix and Mash Jam.

I would love to hear what you think about the game.

Cheers, Matt

Very nice. Thanks for doing this. (^_^)

pixsy community · Created a new topic Super Bitsy Land

I made a small Mario like game with Bitsy (I mean I tried :D). Image to Bitsy was super helpful for getting there quick. Great tool.

Check it out:

Hi everyone,

I made a short Mario games with Bitsy:

https://pocketfruit.itch.io/super-bitsy-land

My idea was: why not go and de-make a very beloved game of mine (Super Mario Land for Nintendo Gameboy) and try to emulate the gameplay as exactly as possible with Bitsy - using a tool that isn't intended for platformers at all and that has even simpler graphics than the original Gameboy? :D

So, here is the first "real" platformer done in Bitsy. It was a fun experiment, at least for one level. Hope you like it.

M.

Good question. I would say that it's a short experience. Bitsy is a very good tool for delivering such short vignettes.

Hi,

I made a short scene with bitsy and the image to bitsy tool (you could add it to the collection ;D).

https://pocketfruit.itch.io/leave

I found out about bitsy a few days ago and since then I am fascinated what people come up with.

I aimed to do a small scene / vignette that paints a sad and desolate situation.

If you have a short moment, give it a try.

Hi everyone,

I just published 'LEAVE' - a small scene done with Bitsy.

Nice work, really enjoyed it. I can see that you use a number of bitsy hacks to achieve the final game. How did your development work look like, I am curious  (since you cannot use the hacks and test the scenes while in the editor, I guess)?

Thanks so much!

Hi everyone,

I have just released a new game called 'molecules' on itch.io:

https://pocketfruit.itch.io/molecules

'molecules' is an experimental puzzle game set in space, where you need to find the right path along a chain of atoms in order to clear a level.

Inspired by several 3D tutorials I aimed to create a full 3D game for the very limited hardware of the PICO-8 fantasy console and thus push the console to its very limits. The game features 3D graphics and 3D controls (movement along all 3 axes is possible and needed to clear the levels) and dynamic sound effects.

I have tried to create a unique experience for PICO-8, both in terms of presentation and gameplay and invested quite some time in the game's feeling and atmosphere.

I would love to hear what you think and include your feedback into the game.

Cheers, Matt

Cool, thank you!

Hi everyone,

I have just released my first game 'Upward' on itch.io:

https://pocketfruit.itch.io/upward

Upward is a hard puzzle platformer where the only thing you can do is jump. Still, is this enough to climb a mountain full of deadly obstacles? The game relies very heavily on precise jumping and using the environment/other objects to traverse from screen to screen. The game was built with PICO-8 in 5 days and I aimed for a very old-school hardcore platforming/puzzler experience.

I would love to hear what you think and include your feedback into the game.

Cheers, Matt
