Wow, thank you so much for the amazing praise and constructive criticism. Couldn't agree more, these rooms need to be more descriptive to get the mood across and set the scene.

XEPHION was a jam submission and it was down to the wire so we had to be very bare bones with the writing but we are working on a Complete Edition where we will beef up the document as a whole, this note will definitely be taken into account during our revision process!

Very unique entry! It was a little hard to read with everything in italics, would love to see a version where italics were only used for important details. Good job!

Very nice layout, easy to digest. Love the tables and cool premise!

Wow thank you so much for such high praise! We're so happy that you felt we hit the mark with the Alien and Metroid inspo and that it was an enjoyable read <3333

Your notes are great and honestly we wanted to included a time table/evolution countdown section but we just didn't have enough time. And coin values is such a good point, totally should've been more thorough about such a central theme to the game. But definitely look for both to be addressed in XEPHION: Complete Edition after the jam is over!!

Thank you for the kind words and constructive criticism :)
Definitely going to revise some of the wording in a Complete Edition after the jam is over !

Insanely cool treatment here, this layout is gorgeous.

Thanks so much for the kind words!!!
This was our first attempt at an adventure for Knave, glad that you liked it!

(Loved your submission!)

I'm so glad you like it! We are currently working on a newer version with updated rules and art that will be available to anyone with access to the current version that should be coming out within a month or so (fingers crossed). We will absolutely go live with a print friendly version!

Finished reading the entire book over the weekend and I am floored at the style, detail and spirit of your game. As a person completely enamored with the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime as a kid (and an avid player of Magic the Gathering as an adult) bravo. I am so excited to run this game for my friends!

Question for you as a fellow game designer: will you be expanding on the game with third party content/game jams? I would LOVE to write a sourcebook/campaign for your system with a cool badge on the cover and proper attribution. I know you're busy with your backerkit rollout but I would love to see some third party assets/resources in the future if you were interested!

So happy you're into it! We are currently working on a new version with updated art, rules and mechanics (and will be available to anyone with access to the current version). Can't wait to get you the update!

Very cute lil game, I liked the use of Pixel Nook's assets.

Absolutely phenomenal presentation and graphic work. If you developed a second version or sequel with a full cast of characters and story I could see it going VERY far.

You're also a great writer! Can't wait to see what else you make in the future.

Hello! I made a game last year that involves using a deck of playing cards and I was wondering if that would be okay to submit to the jam?

I'm not sure if there were explicit rules on the entry having needed to be designed exclusively during the jam time frame.

Thanks!

Sorry, been a busy month! Working on a small update for the current version at the moment and will publish a pages format at the same time! Should be within the next week or so!

Wow, thank you so much for the glowing review! And I agree with you. The Dying Man could be a little more fleshed out. I'm planning on making an updated version with a few more pages where I can give him a whole section for future referees.

Happy to hear your players enjoyed it as well! Can't wait to pub the full campaign :)

Thank you so much for the feedback and kind words!

Thank you so much for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the mission!

So glad you and your players had a good time! I appreciate the kind words and high praise!

Hey thanks!
And for sure, a pages format is coming soon, will notify you!

Filled with loads of fantastic writing and flavor it made me say "Why didn't I think of that?" out loud.

The text, though brilliant, was a little hard to read at times. Would love to see a version left aligned instead of center aligned!

A bite-sized mission with a lot going for it. I could see it being run in an hour at a convention or a whole night depending on how the players make decisions and the referee ups the drama.
Some of the text gets hard to see at times and the two tone coloration can be a bit distracting but ultimately a fun looking mission!

Gorgeous style, evocative color choice and such an enticing mission prompt, will be picking this one up in the future!

Thank you for the kind words! And that's a good note, a little reference in the back would be great. I'll add that to the next version!

Thank you so much for your kind words! Really really appreciate it <3333

Oh my gosh, I'm so honored that you left a review of the mission, I feel like getting a kumada1 review is a true rite of passage!

I appreciate your kind words and will definitely take your notes to heart for revisions and future mission designs!

edit: rite instead of "right" of passage, realized Glutinous was not misspelled (was really tired and forgot that was a word too!)

Thank you so much!

PETER!!!! You're gonna make me cry!

Thank you so much for the kind review, I truly appreciate it!

This game is really well done! Great theme and game feel. Just finished Persona 4 and this reminded me of the Investigation Team so much! Nice job :)

Love to hear you had a good time! And a journaling component is so interesting, wow.

Definitely want to revisit this game in the near future (thinking about making it an adventure for Mausritter) but you're really inspiring me with that journaling component!

Thanks so much for playing <3

Oh no! You gotta get back in there and try again, I believe in you!

This brought me so much joy, thank you so much for the lovely review! The game did start as a totally stupid idea but I had to see it through!

Hope you had as much fun as I had designing it <3

So glad you had fun! The completionist ending is my favorite win condition and depending on your rolls it can be really easy or really difficult to achieve. I'm glad you got out of there safe!
