This puzzle is trickier, but you don't need the atomic numbers 😉

Thank you, I broke something when adding the digestion system. I also caught another bug with the vore system so thankies :3

Ah, the fault would be of my own since that was vague enough to provide that idea. I should both update that fail response while also adding more NPC + Player interactions like that. I thank you for your feedback as I think I can make the game much more fun now :D

Asked it to what? Anyways you can use the "use on/useon" command to use an item, then name a target. "me" refers to yourself, and "notme" refers to closest NPC, you can use the "help <command>" for additional details of a command and use "variant <command>" to see all synonyms of a command.

I'd like to know how you were trying to go about using it/playing it as I'd like to try getting the syntax to fit how most players may play :3

I don't know how but I managed to break one of the sniper's health upgrades since it just kept going up, lol. I managed to beat it twice since it looped back from 20 to 1, and figured out the meta for it 😅 TD games are one of the few that I have a love/hate relationship with and the way you executed had me enjoy it :D

This game nails the game addictive gameplay loop, I got down to ~216m before plummeting to my death. It has an excellent balance of mechanics that make descending fun and strategic with platforms disappearing if your on them long enough, dashing cancels fall momentum which allows you to make safer landings, and a great use of diegetic visuals for the health and how screen shake indicates how close the sun is behind you! I just wished it had some sound/music to go with it (and for the quit button to actually work XP ).  This game might make you descend, but this it certainly ascending in my favorites!

This one I feel has a strong visual aesthetic and a solid gameplay style, and takes the theme quite literally XP  My only minor complaints would be how dark the game seems to get and how the ending had juxtaposed white text that didn't fit in the game at all 😅 Overall I think this one might win, bravo!

Oh thank you so much for bringing that up! I forgot to test that area with the door glitch active 😅 Thankfully I read this before uploading a last minute patch so I could patch that as well (I'm not exactly sure why that would be playing on loop 🤔)

Thank you for the bug report 👍 I'll look into it and see if its either hiding tasks or thinks that there are more than present (I forgot how many there are, lol 😅

Hmm... I might have a resizing issue with the game. I double checked my game Chowdown Showdown and it wasnt having any button displacements on mobile :T I'll see if I cant debug that later this month, rn Finals are upon me -p-

What phone are you using? An Android/iPhone/iPad/Tablet/Some other smart touch mobile device? And if abled, could you share the screen size? That'll help me determine if its the operating system or a GUI problem (or both) :3

My dude, out of all the games you're asking for mobile support, THIS one does indeed support it through the browser! (Or are you just reinforcing the requests you've been making for my games?) If your having trouble playing this one then let's trouble shoot it, it could be a browser compatibility issue I'm not aware of :3

*Facepalm* I meant Slot Machine 😅

Thanks for the bug report, I'll look into it and make sure I didn't overlook something 😅

Quick question to players who've reached Jacks, is the vending machine accessible?

If you have a discord you can join my server so we can collaborate more effectively, especially when itch is down temporarily 😅https://discord.gg/8dDXPxbGfV

I'd like to know your skill sets so I can give a more proper task, like are you artistic, programmer, musical? This game needs help on all fronts atm 😂

I haven't looked into bug patching this specific issue yet, but thank you for the detailed report! It'll help me with debugging and what behavior to look for 👍

I've figured out how to run it in XAMPP, but someone also helped me make a stupidly simpler solution to the problem. But I'll go over both:

For XAMPP, from the control panel, click on "Explorer" on the right to open the file location for XAMPP and open the folder "htdocs". After unzipping the game into its own folder, move the extracted game folder into the "htdocs" folder. Now just Start a module from the XAMPP control panel and open your web browser. The game will be hosted at "http://localhost/<game>" where "<game>" is the folder you put the game into.

For the simpler solution I just set up thanks to PeachClamNine, you now just need to unzip the folder and run the "launch.py" script to get it running :3 I always forget to ask other folk since they might have easier solutions that I'm not even aware of XP

I hope this helps finally! Have fun gaming! :3

Yeah I do need some help with this project, me and the folk who enjoy this game would greatly appreciate it since I'm going to get pretty busy in a couple of weeks and still need to update another game in the mean time, so having any extra hands would help me out a lot 👍

Apologies for the late reply, and happy new years! I've downloaded that version so once I figure out how to run it on my side then I'll be able to answer this question for ya 😉👍

Happy New Year! I Ver 1.1.0 has been released just before the clock struck 12 my time! Here is what you need to know:

- Fixed spelling errors and missing texts, including for the Education scenario

- Adjusted some values of options

- You can now choose to start from the hibernation screen or start a new run when you come back to the game

- Icons now adapt their image to your current stat level

- A version value has been added to the bottom left so you can see what version of the game you've been playing

I hope some of the small tweaks are welcomed as I slowly get back to figuring out all the spaghetti noodles I made from the jam XP

Ping! May I take you up on this offer and have some ideas for new character design parts please? :3

So apparently the executable has XXS security which results in browsers not loading it in correctly, its a protocol protection so using a local webhost like WAMP or XAMPP to host the files on should bypass the protection. I'll update the download instructions to help with this oversight. ^^;

Thank you for the bug report! I'll see about figuring out a fix to that since that would be really annoying to complete ^^;

And I'll look at the investment bug since it could be a calculation error on my part. Though if you could double check for me, that it isn't already leveled with R. Z points reset after a run but R points do not so the stat could be leveled up, if I understand your description correctly.

I... Strangely don't have a V1.3.X saved, I'm currently looking to see if anyone might have that version by chance. So it might be a bit before you can replay the older one 😅

I apologize for not answering sooner (or answering already but forgetting where 😅) I wasn't subbed to the topic so I missed this message. The first 2 are tied to Campaign mode, but I can't remember which difficulty (if hard, then you'd only need to get halfway through for both). For "Curious Browser", try looking in the Credits menu ;3

Again, apologies for the extremely late reply, I should try being a little more vigilant next time 👍

Apologies for the late reply, I agree with achievements being annoying in the newer version and the next major update is supposed to untether characters from specific achievements. I could look to see if I have a version before the achievements update that I could upload for ya sometime soon (~24hr-ish if I have a copy).

From the design perspective, Achievements were added as a way to encourage players to play the different games and try challenges for those games, with character unlocks as an incentive to go for those achievements. But as I'm still learning as a developer and trying out new things, implementation worked okay, but iteration and execution fell flat. I've been meaning to post an update about the game's status, but so far plans are to get the major update to fix this issue out by end of 2023/January 2024.

Have a good day and happy turkey week! :3

If it gets an update it'll be in December. And I could look into adding more weight to them for the next update ;3

Sadly, I am not, but I bet if we were related he'd be a cool uncle 😅

If your asking how to switch to play mode, click the far right menu icon and it will show a green play button on the far right of the submenu. Remember, itch.io has its overlay that can interfere with embedded games so you might need to scroll the site up or down if clicking the green play arrow doesn't work.

Apologies for the long delay, as requested I made the HTML file available :3

Currently trying to get clips of Chowdown Showdown pulled together for Quimbly's Belly Direct, so an update for this will be a while 😓

What would Sandbox mode for the game even look like? Giving the player infinite stats in order to customize a run how they wished? 🤔

The quest tasks are always a hit and miss, I added it in since it would mean you'd need to go out of your way in a run to complete it, or at least it was my reasoning for its inclusion. The quest tasks design was to force the player to interact and manage their stats, but it could have been implemented better tbh. That's the nature of Jam games in whole 😅

The game should be able to run on Android from the browser, and it should save the tasks you've completed. I could fix it so if you've played before that it'll send you to the Hibernation screen instead of making you go through a run to reach it again 😅

Out of that list I only managed to get brown added as a color (technically 2 browns, regular brown and reddish brown) before the jam ends. I can't believe I didn't have brown in my list of colors before haha XD

Weight stages stop after 570lbs, so you could "push" it a little more ;3 (See its funny cuz the game jam's theme is "Push the Limits" lol)

Bruh, I don't think I can stuff all that in within the game before the jam ends 🤯 ...maybe post-jam? 😹

New version is out, and someone cleaned house on the task system so it should be working now 😅

I'm glad to know that they're all doable 😹 (Sadly this would of been the good time for saving to include all progress, working on that next 😅)
