I think the idea of scaling items up and down as a puzzle game is pretty neat! For me, the most difficult/frustrating part of the game was the timing of taking things out of the scale boxes (I'm not sure what they are meant to be) at the correct time. I think it could be better to give the player more control here, as the actual interesting part of the game is the math puzzle part of it to get the ratios correct. Maybe to add that timing aspect back in you could incorporate the diner-dash action stuff that was suggested in the comments earlier. I think that could make a big improvement. Otherwise I think with some more visual polish and working out some bugs I encountered this is a great entry! Nice work!

Really cool idea! I think this game would be most fun when you are moving fast quickly dodging and reacting to the notes, but like others have pointed out, this is hard due to the camera. I also think that the gameplay feels almost separate from the theming? It really felt like this was going to have to do something with rhythm going in, and honestly, I think incorporating rhythm elements would really improve the feel of the game and add a ton of depth. Overall, great work, especially on that doodle style!

The game ran extremely poorly on my device, so I sadly couldn't play. However the visuals look really good! (Not rated as I couldn't load the game).

Really awesome game! I think some UI and UX improvements could go a long way in helping the player understand where the meat is and such. I also think some balance improvements could be really helpful. Nice work!

Super polished, loved the visuals, and there were some neat puzzles! Great work!

Really cool concept! The controls felt snappy and it was very easy to grasp. The timer was hard to see, so it often felt like I was just suddenly losing, but otherwise good work! Also how do you solve the Magnesium Sulfate one because I could not get it lol

EDIT: Nevermind, I got it. I didn't realize you had to follow the actual structure of the molecule.

Great game, I loved it. There were some annoying bugs, but without those and maybe some more balancing, this would be essentially perfect. Great job.

I really like the idea of being a tiny waitress serving customers, it seems really cool! My biggest challenge was how infrequently orders came in. I felt like most of the time I had nothing to do. Otherwise, great work!

Fun game! I could definitely feel that you were trying to go for a sense of scale, and this worked really well, but in some cases it was really difficult to see the enemies. Other then some minor bugs, great work!

Out of curiosity, how did you get softlocked?

Edit: just saw on the stream, that's really weird! Sorry that happened and glad you played.

I really liked the art and presentation, that was awesome! I feel like you didn't scale often enough for killing enemies to feel really rewarding, and I could just stand on the heads of enemies. I feel like they should try to fight back when I attack them. Overall nice work!

It was really difficult to figure out what to do at the start, but once I did it was a cool concept! Having to build a level where you have to think of future levels of difficulty is neat. However, this is difficult for the player to do as they do not know how the scaling will affect their gameplay at the start. Its impossible to strategize when you have too little information. It was also difficult to actually make a level, as all the pieces I tried to place just fell down. You should check out ultimate chicken horse, you could probably get a lot of cool inspiration as they are doing a similar concept. Overall great work, I had a lot of fun!

Fun game! I liked the variety of minigames and the visuals, especially how you could see yourself become stronger. I wish the goal and how the judges scored you was a little clearer, as I didn't really know what I was striving for. Great work!

Cool concept! This could definitely be a fun idle game. A tutorial would be really helpful as I did not really know what to do for a bit. Great work.

I think this was a very fun arcade game! A lot of people have problems with the controls, but I actually liked them. The snappiness of the rocket was fun to control. The problem is that it is so snappy that it becomes essentially impossible to aim the asteroids. The smallest tap of the button will change you from an angle that would hit to one that wouldn't, especially as the planet shrinks and as you try to shoot further away. This means the only effective strategy in my mind was to just ram the planet with an asteroid in hand, which is definitely less fun. If you are going to stick with the A/D controls (which I think is fine they were very fun), you need to have something else to make shooting easier. Aim assist was the first thing that I thought of, but there are plenty of other solutions to this issue. I thought the presentation was very good, some nice animations really add a lot. Nice work!

Super polished and juicy, loved that. I think the player controls could use a little work, things felt a bit imprecise (especially wall jumping). I might just be bad though. I think the concept and design has a ton of potential if it were to be expanded. Amazing work!

This was a very fun game! I love classic arcade games, so I might be a bit biased, but still. Some things I think could be improved on in the future:
More juice! The game felt kinda unsatisfying to play, destroying blocks by just spamming the p button feels repetitive, but with more feedback this effect would be greatly reduced.
Controls, it felt really awkward to control and play this game, adding a bit of unnecessary difficulty and annoyance. Especially for an arcade game, smooth and responsive controls are a huge help.

I also think the scaling could go a bit faster and the enemies could be harder. This game is at its best when you have an enormous army fighting a ton of enemies, giving more opportunities to scale and making those enemy encounters more intense would be awesome. Encounters felt slow, and scaling was too infrequent.

Great game, and a ton of room for improvement. Nice job!

I think a puzzle platformer with scaling is a pretty cool idea, and this was very well executed. My biggest challenge was the scaling controls, they felt kinda finicky and some of the buttons felt unintuitive. You gave a lot of control to the player with how they could scale, but it didn't always feel like the puzzles reflected that control so to me it just felt overwhelming. That is pretty much to be expected with a game jam though, and I think the overall execution and puzzles were well done. I also like how you taught the players the controls, I grasped the basics very quickly. Nice work!

The concept here is super creative, and there is a ton of potential. Cutting the cubes was a direction that I would not have thought of and I really liked that. I think that the biggest area of needed improvement would be the camera. It was really hard to tell depth and accurately control it, and although this did add difficulty it was more just frustrating. I really enjoyed my time with your game, great work!

We really wanted to add more levels and enemies, but ran out of time. It totally would've made the game much better. Thanks for playing!

The style was excellent and I could see a lot of work went into this! I found it really hard to control the camera which made it difficult to play. Nonetheless, I think the gameplay has a lot of promise and was overall really enjoyable.

I found it extremely challenging, but really nice concept and great execution! With a bit more balance this could be great.

Super cool concept! The presentation is great and the puzzles are very well executed. The controls need a bit of work, as I had to hold my hands in a really awkward position to be able to control effectively. Overall nice job!

I think that the concept for this game is really awesome, having to balance two opposing qualities of your player is really interesting. I think some more balancing would really help, I never got high levels of scale as food wouldn't spawn fast enough. Some more work on the presentation would also help a ton. Overall I enjoyed my experience, my run ended when I got so many speed foods that I glitched out of the map!

Neat little concept! I was a little confused about the end goal, but the art especially was great. Great work!

Awesome art and gameplay, super well done and the controls are really clever. Nice job!

Actually really funny.

For how little time this was made in, everything is presented very well. I also really like the concept and with some more time I could see this become something great.

Great idea! The bigger guns were so much fun to unlock, the particles and sound made them feel so much fun compared to your last one. The puzzles were well done, I just wish that more of the rooms were focused on those puzzles to give you a bit more to do (but that might just be me). Nice job!

Awesome idea! Throwing planets and having them be controlled by the gravity of others is so awesome. I would really love it if there were some easier controls, shooting objects was extremely difficult. Great work overall!

I am working on this!

Really awesome idea! My one main problem is that it was really hard to control when there were multiple notes in a line or when notes were falling in quick succession. Some control tweaks would make this really cool!

Pretty cool concept for a game! Coding this without any starting code is quite impressive. I would recommend increasing the flag speed, as the fun of this game is trying to predict where the ball will end up and not moving there. I also would shorten the radius where you are too close to the ball, because sometimes its impossible to have the ball hit the flag because of that radius. I also think a visual indicator of that radius would be good. Great job this jam!

The concept of this game is pretty funny! My one critique is that the concept really isn't reflected in the gameplay. If they are trying to save me, why do I lose HP? I feel like there are some really creative places you can go gameplay wise with this concept that I would love to see. Overall, great work!

Simple but fun! I would recommend making the bounce a little more random so that you are encouraged to not just bounce between to corners which right now is the optimal strategy, or maybe try something else to encourage bouncing between different corners like trying to get a certain amount of points in each corner. Maybe both! The controls and difficulty felt good, but I would like a little more of a grace window for bouncing. Great work, super creative and I had a ton of fun!

The concept of being the hunted is really interesting! I think the deer being slow is actually good for what you are trying to go for. I also originally disliked the mouse movement but grew to like it, but maybe experiment with other movement styles. My one main problem is that it was hard to tell at first if something would block the laser or not, so maybe make that more visually clear. It was also hard to tell what direction the laser was coming from at first. Otherwise, great job!

Really interesting game! Its kinda like a reverse plants vs zombies and I really liked that idea. The things I would suggest you change are the recharge rate, because it is far too slow, and it was difficult to place enemies on some spots in the placement menu. I would recommend a UI indicator so I know where the spots are. Other then that, great job!

This was a really interesting game! I liked the concept of pushing the ball like that, it reminds me of those maze things you find in the dentist's office. I've wanted a game like this for a while actually. My one problem is the camera controls need tidying up, they are really hard as is. Otherwise great job!
