really fun game!

thank you!

yippee!! i'm glad you enjoyed it :) haha i also thought about that but maybe in the future

thank you for playing and for your feedback!

i appreciate the feedback!

yeah of course you can! i appreciate you asking :)

thank you for playing and your feedback! that's a great idea, i did realize that people could just go around in circles on the lower heights, but I couldn't think of a easier solution for the player to gain money. but I might just do that in a post-jam update :)

thank you for playing and your feedback! yeah after the jam ended, I realized how I could fix the difficulty scaling haha

i appreciate it!

thank you!

this is definitely one of my favorite games I've seen in this jam. I'm a sucker for the shader that you used through everything, it was honestly very nice; it wasn't too jarring but it was also enough to showcase it appropriately. the sounds that you used for everything was honestly great, it felt great to ride on the cables and play those small mini games with the rocks and small the scaling puzzle.

it felt like you had a solid vision and were able to follow through with it.

overall, amazing job! beautiful game!

I think you nailed the style of everything very well, it's all consistent with one another and that's really appealing to me! It's probably just a skill issue, but I had a lot of trouble getting past some of the levels and I unfortunately had to stop playing because the fast movement of the camera back and forth constantly was a little jarring to my eyes. But honestly, great execution on the idea! It looks and feels good, and the style is consistent all around which is very appealing.

Great job!

The note in the description helped when I first started playing it. I really enjoyed using the foot smashing mechanic where you drag the feet with your mouse. It didn't feel clunky and was enjoyable when I ate the fruit.

Good job to the both of y'all!

of course! oh i was saying that the tutorial is already really nice paced as it is and that I really liked it! sorry if my message was a bit confusing

i appreciate it! if you get the upgrades in the shop, it helps a lot with the climb so it's not as difficult and punishing :)

thank you!

thank you!

i'm glad you enjoyed it! yeah the skill checks range in difficulty based on how far the rock is from you, so it's a bit of risk and reward! thank you!

i appreciate the articulate review, thank you!

thank you! i'm glad you enjoyed it :) if you get the upgrades in the shop, it becomes much easier to climb!

thank you!

this game is very fun and addicting! i thoroughly enjoyed playing it and loved the mechanics of the combo chaining. the art style is very charming and works well all together! I'm very impressed with the implementation of the global leaderboard, great job on that!

i had an issue with when I was prompted to choose a plant, I couldn't pick the one that the cursor automatically defaulted to and had to just switch back and forth to choose that one, and there was one instance that the pop-up didn't come down but I was still able to select it. But these are pretty minor issues, and it didn't take away from my experience at all!

Overall, great job on this submission !!

glad you enjoyed it! haha yeah i get that, bouldering is not the easiest (from my experience)

thank you, i appreciate it!

i appreciate it!

i'm happy to hear that the sfx were amusing haha! can I ask what color rock you ended up getting to or were you able to beat it? :0

yeah I had some comments about the initial difficulty which I realize I could've adjusted accordingly, but I kept playing it and got better through development so I figured it was okay, but definitely something I will keep in mind moving forward!

Amazing job on the visuals of the game! I feel like this game is very polished with everything that's in it. The tutorial is nicely paced so that the player learns the game slowly instead of being thrown a bunch of information at once. The arcade feel is definitely there and it's a solid game.

Great job! My high score was 256

this game is very cute! I loved the version of Dilemma as the main song the monster was dancing to. the puzzle was super fun to solve, but it did take quite a bit of thinking to figure out that I could actually use the items in the hotbar in the different dimensions.

overall, great job to the dev team! i love the credits polaroid with everyone's pictures!

i loved the swinging hitbox in this game, it didn't feel too big to where I'm always hitting the ball, but it was never too small to where I would get frustrated at not being able to hit the ball when it was already moving fast. the art looks quite nice and I love the look of the charge animation.

overall, great job to the dev team! my high score was 3555

can I ask if y'all got any inspiration from the character Metal Bat from One Punch Man? because the artwork and background of the game remind me of that character haha

YAY! i'm happy to know you beat it :)) thank you for putting so much time into my game, I really appreciate it!

funny enough, I have a small group of friends currently trying to beat the game with no chalk haha

haha i hope you were able to make it home!

Playing this Sim game was a nice break from playing more intense fast-paced games, and I enjoyed it! I had a bit of a hard time understanding the controls at first, but as soon as I saw a screenshot from your itch page, I was able to understand what them. Overall, the mechanics were done well and I didn't see a single bug from my end! I beat the game by just extracting a lot of florp when I got GUS's stamina meter pretty high up.

The only thing I'd have to nitpick at is how the music ramps up in volume at one point in the song, so I had to turn down the music entirely to play because it just got too loud, but the music was very nice!

Overall, great job to the both of y'all and I'm glad GUS got to live happily ever after on his beach vacation!

This is a great game! I got addicted pretty quickly and kept dying on the last level haha. It's probably just a skill issue, but honestly everything works together really well and there's a lot to balance when you get to the last level with how many projectiles and enemies are coming at you but I enjoyed the challenge!

Great job to the dev team!

the VFX on the title screen and for the characters are really cool! also, whoever did the cover page did an astounding job with it; the hands were done really well!

i thoroughly enjoyed it when I got to use the flip cards, the mechanics of the game made sense when they were introduced and gave me a new way to play which was very cool.

good job to y'all's team!

it's okay! beat it  using less chalk and carabiners and you will emerge victorious

the winner! :D

YAY! i'm glad your whole team got to enjoy the game :)

how many chalk and carabiners did it take y'all to beat it?

thank you! i'm glad you enjoyed it :) love the MapleStory pfp!

thank you! i'm glad you were able to find beauty in the frustration haha

i appreciate the kind words!! yeah it was a bit of a challenge to appropriately balance the game cause some believed it was already too hard, but it's okay haha
