The dying close to death and surviving a perilous situation was meant as a narrative interpretation of escaping a great danger, perhaps in an exciting situation with great roleplaying that the game master might reward the player for the XP. I could not fit all that in the page. But I changed the last sentence to something better, thanks to you.

On the front cover of the book with the guy that's crawling out, he apparently is giving the bird. Can you clarify what this means? When you convey a message with a front cover, it is usually meant for the audience. If it's supposed to be directed at someone personally without them knowing about it, then we would like to know about it.

1. Enemies are made the same way as how you create player characters on page 2! For creating enemies quickly, you don't have to give them equipment unless if you want and maybe just 1 skill would be good enough for them.

This looks great! I have never cared for Mausritter or mice, but this got my attention. Are the birds playable? If not, please make them playable. In fact, you should consider making a full game of birds, whether it's from Mausritter or your own game and you will have my full support! Keep up the great work!
