Something new...?

(3 edits)

9 months later...

No reply. Total lack of support... (?) :(

Too kind... email sent!

Damn by mistake I bought 2 times AN1 instead of AN2! =8(

Then you know it's not overkill g-sync for old emulators with games created for old multisync screens, if you want perfect smoothness.

(1 edit)

G-Sync = will sync frames to video with GPU rendered frames = 50/60Hz will look butter smooth, as well as 54.70Hz for a MAME game... To achieve the same without G-Sync/Freesync you should have a video mode for EVERY single exact res (50, 49.97, 54.70Hz etc...). It is a tech incredibly useful for old emulator and their strange refresh rates.

I prefer modern Denise emulator.... you can play G-Synced games smoother as it was in the good old days on 50Hz PAL / 60Hz NTSC TVs...

On Itch try in the upper right, next to your account icon: menu EXPLORE: "My library"... it should list all your purchased games with a Download button.

News? The sound is gone after update 1.21...

Tested with latest OpenBor but shows some gfx glitches (misplaced fire animations in last level or character selection screen glitches) unfortunately

😖

News?

Very nice port (probably the best ever)! But... I think it can be better with a few adjustments:

1. improve inertia when jumping and leaving the joystick (arcade still had a few inertia, this port does not and Wonderboy falls vertically)

2. still a bit too floaty jump fall...

2. the fairy invincibility bonus is too short (in the arcade you are invincible even after ~1 sec she leaves the screen)

this is my constructive report ;-)

Can't hear menu sounds, explosions etc. in-game after update 1.21...

Can you have a look at these bugs?

Nice Uridium-like game but needs a little more bug-fixing...

14MB is too much for your system specs in 2023??? I re-upped the image in lowers attached + external link for full res. Of course is big since has been upscaled automatically.

Bought it, but... an english version?

PROBLEMI COI CONTROLLI

@Antonio Savona

@Pierre Gilhodes

Why just 640x480? :(

Idea: what about resize the whole game graphics with AI tools*? They can do an excellent job on hand-painted gfx like this, so you'll be able to resize the game gfx and get rid of ugly blurried or pixelized resize on modern 1920x1080+ screen resolutions...

* a cheap experiment I did with AI Image Upscale — image resizer without losing quality - Microsoft Apps

Amazing work and very funny! Love different characters with different moveset... REQUESTS: 1) can you add VSync option? 2) when you die and continue please let player start choosing from last used character.

Flawless and amazing work! Well done!
I made some icons for the game (Coloricon format): https://1drv.ms/u/s!ApMUGr0cuN39grxGS2n2IG5AEzMvqw?e=YtNJ9h

Quittable to WB too? :)

Old version 1.0.0 was running fine.
Windows version 1.1.2 error on launch:

It seems to be missing some files: I solved it overwriting old 1.0.0 installation with 1.1.2 (there were some extra files in 1.0.0: GMXInput.dll, sndLife.ogg, steam-banner.png, TestDll.dll, AltGamepadSupport.exe)

Pico-8 should have an option to quickly switch to x2<->x1 display resolution, and a way for programmers to automatically set this option when starting a game...

Someone asked Pico-8's author about this feature request?

(Amazing work BTW! Thank you!)

Will you release an AGA 256 colors version too?

DLC, more (and longer) levels?

WOW! And is just OCS

Something still missing in Pico-8? Will ask to its author...

virtual-emulator of course ;) My question was: instead of loading separate files, would be possible to merge everything in a single Pico-8 file and/or make it dynamically load the levels ("multi-load")? It's annoying having to load manually single levels...

(1 edit)

Is it possible to merge everything in a single or multi-load cart for Pico-8 vemu?

Make it multilanguage using external XML file for the strings! Fan community will add unofficial translations! :(

Ok thank you. It sounded strange to me since it was actually loading through Pico-8... so that's a limit of p8.png format.

So a Pico-8 format won't ever exist?

How can I download the game in png format for Pico-8?
