this struck me

Thanks so much!

Really polished game! I don't play factory games so found it confusing at first but got to grips with it. Still literally the worst at it, as proven by the cool score system lmao. I like how you can fail a level and continue on to the next.

Thank you!! Sorry about that, it's a common piece of feedback I'm getting. If I make this into something bigger I have a lot to learn from this, so your nitpicking is valuable to me :)

Thanks! I'll have a look.

I like this concept! Was fun getting bigger and bigger, but my gripe is that unlike Katamari the game always feels exactly the same as the beginning. Aside from the scale number at the top I couldn't comprehend the massiveness. Still, I spent some time playing and enjoyed it. Got to here before stopping :)

Love the idea, great art and execution

Highly enjoyable gnome game! I love the dancing

Thanks so much! Always glad to see another fixed-camera fan :)

Very pretty! I got lost amassing a big gang of fish and didn't clean up anything haha. It was a bit laggy but I had a good time. Nice use of the theme, I really enjoyed the Katamari-like build-up of scale and then being able to zoom back to the OG little guy.

Thank you cactus

Thanks a bunch!

Wow, this could be the best game in the jam and it's only got a handful of ratings. Amazing Valve-esque atmosphere, voice acting and storytelling, both in the environment and through the voice recordings. It felt like playing Half Life 1. There's so much here you had to make and it's very impressive. You even have menus with sliders and options!

Also the conference call was hilarious, though I wanted to listen to all of it, progressing through the level triggered a different audio clip and I missed out on the second half.
My only other gripe is that the recharge stations are extremely loud and I accidentally managed to walk away from them with the sound still playing. Still, 5 stars all round.

Simple fun game! I tried on mobile and just went straight down but still could complete the game that way :D

Thanks! I think I might make it into something in the future

Satisfying amount of penguins, I couldn't figure out how to get the third ball though!

Cute game! The extension cables were more trial and error than puzzle solving though. I feel like you were getting to the good bits but ran out of time. Still, well done for what you got in the short time frame! There's lots of polish already and a great base for a game!

Cool game! I really like the audio and the tension. I could figure out what to do pretty intuitively, although I had to lose level 2 a few times before I understood what was happening.

Also I managed to squish myself in level 3 haha which was a fun detail

Thank so much for the detailed comment! I love fixed-camera games. The problem with the way I've done it is as you say, and a few other people have said figuring out where to walk, or where you are, can be a challenge sometimes. Moving the cameras up and looking down more would help a lot. I didn't want to compromise on some of the angles simply for the way they looked but yeah, not the best for navigation. Maybe I could have added more camera zones or some better landmarks too. Also if you do look at my other games I really appreciate it! I'm also on Steam, currently working on a match-3 roguelite https://store.steampowered.com/developer/bigcharlie.

Which is completely different from this, but I've always wanted to make some cool fixed-camera games, so that might happen in the future :)

Thank you for playing! I think I might make something more out of it :)

Thank you!!

Thanks so much!!

Thank you! I think you're right, there's a lot more that can be done with this :)

Cheers!

Thanks a ton!

Thanks so much for playing!!

Fun little game! Love the art and audio

Fun take on the theme! I enjoyed the movements and planning, makes me think I would love to see speedruns that can efficiently use the crane and move the player at the same time. Great polish and done in 48 hours is super impressive!

big thank you

Thanks for playing! Sorry if the player controller felt too sluggish!

Cool game, I just wish I could hover over the existing buildings!

Why did I just fling 1128 gnomes? Great game

My favourite intro that I've seen from this jam! Very cute and just the right amount of challenge. The final jump was incredibly satisfying. Music was very cool, nice use of scales haha. Also appreciate making the mole absolutely humongous at the end.

My head hurts! Good game but I think the real challenge was learning how the game works. After I discovered the rules I spammed my way through every option to save me having to use my brain cell. Cool concept, and I like the art and music.

Loved the idea, caught a glimpse of a titan and the sheer scale of it made it such a cool moment. Touches like the dynamic music, even a title theme were great surprises. I find it so hard to make music so very impressive you made all that 11 hours before deadline!!

yo this is really cool! I played it on my own which was a fun challenge. Nice art as well.

Thanks a ton!

Glad you enjoyed it! At that level I felt I needed to mix it up a bit, as a sort of puzzle. Thanks for playing!

Thank you!!! Made my day reading this

I like this concept! The moving animals are a fun challenge, the deer in the night spooked me good! I can imagine this being a cool full game if you continue to work on it post-jam, with lots of places to go and things to see and do
