thank you! I really appreciate this :)

(1 edit)

ooh interesting... that isn't right, so I'm curious what your reasoning was...

(I can give a hint, but I'll need to know what you're currently thinking)

This is a really cool game! I’m reminded of discussions I’ve seen about magic systems in novels, where there’s a seeming dichotomy between rigorous magic systems and softer magic that instills  a sense of mystery and wonder. Your game manages to do both with its mechanics, somehow, which is really fascinating.

This puzzle has a very mean trick, so you’ll need to think outside the box. Let me know if you want a bigger hint!

It isn’t allowed in this game, but that’s a clever idea!

This was excellent. Thanks for making it.

It was really fun exploring the cave system (and the mechanics)!

This was fun!

Thank you for your kind words! And thanks for making Puzzlescript!

This was so visually mechanically satisfying! I have one quick question, if you don't mind... I was left with one extra thread at the end of the game. Did I miss something, or is that intended?

Either way, this was a great game. Thanks for making it :)

Thank you so much! That means a lot to me :)

Also, I’ll probably delete these messages at some point, as I have a (secret) no-spoiler policy for the comments of my games… but thank you for letting me know about this!

That’s so clever! You’re very close to the real solution, btw. (I wonder if the hat-bunny push breaks any other puzzles… I’ll have to test it).

woah wait you got it to infinite loop for real?! How’d you do that?

That sounds interesting and completely okay by me! I would like credit if it’s not a hassle, and I definitely want to see the final thing once it’s ready

Thank you! And yes, that is the intended solution

did you see the hints in the description?

Oops, that’s a mistake on my part. Will fix. Sorry!

This is absolutely brilliant! One of my favorite games I've played this year. Thanks for making it :)

I'm running a sort-of game jam for one screen, one level puzzle games like this: https://confoundingcalendar.itch.io/. Would you consider making something for it?

I finally finished this version! This is a beautiful puzzle!

Thank you! This means a lot

That first secret was really brilliant by the way. I highly encourage anyone looking at the comments to not look at the source code.

Is this possible to finish? I found the (first?) secret by looking at the source code (sorry for cheating!), but I'm wondering if there's another secret I'm missing or if the game is solvable using the information I have...

Very funny, very impossible.

Brilliant. I need to try this!

Also, I just want to let you know that I deleted some of your comments... they weren't bad or anything, there were just a lot of them. If you want to say more, please feel free to edit your old comments, and I should see them.

Awesome! Congrats!

Wow, this is unplayable... it's great!

Thanks for the comment! Corey and I wanted to keep it focused on just the pure mechanic… and speaking for myself, I found this view to be the most intuitive. Some other people have messed around with other views though.

Ha, yeah, I have a prototype of that I was working on with https://coreyhardt.itch.io/

Super fun game!

Turns out there were two unintended solutions to the last area that skipped the actual puzzle, but both have been fixed. Thanks for pointing this out!

This is so good! I really love the mechanic, and the puzzles are great.

Very cool!

Very cool and mysterious...

Thank you! If I ever make a sequel, that will be item number one.

That's a bummer! Not much I can do about that, sadly.

Thank you!

Thank you!
