Update: after trying a bunch of different options, I figured out that you have to call Ray a psycho to get Haley's ending. Sorry, buddy.

I really liked this game, the writing is fantastic, and I loved the characters.

However: I decided to go for all the endings, and have gotten all of Ray's endings (which are all devastating in their own ways), but I was a little confused on trying to get Haley's ending. The guide shows that you need to get 80 points with Haley to get their ending, but for some reason, the guide only shows the ability to get 70 points. I tried following the guide, picked all of Haley's options, and just got owned by the fountain, haha. Is there something that I'm missing?

Really liked this game, Grim was funny, and Claude was adorable.

I am vaulting, dodging, and running past all these red flags like I'm in a game of competitive tag and taking a hint is "it".

Akello called me baby and I was ready to lay down my life for him. I am embarrassingly smitten with him.

Only complaint is that Quinn was a giant weenie about the big reveal. Who cares if a guy has some secrets. A bit of a dark past. NBD.

Dreaming of a continuation to our villain arc with our jester husband (?)

Just played and absolutely love this game! Thank you for letting  us  go ahead and get down with Ren, lol! I love yandere types and making decisions that will probably get me axe murdered.

(1 edit)

This is a really fun sim, can't wait to see the full thing. I enjoy the plot and most of the characters --Faye struck me as....annoyingly holier-than-thou, which is deliciously ironic considering where she's from, and I hope was intentional. I encouraged the fight just to see her have to stop acting so saintly, lol. I was annoyed that I was left with no choice but to restrain Noel and let Faye win their fight, I was totally rooting for him.

In fact, I would say the lack of choices is the weakest part of this game. You tend to go long blocks of text (with no options for auto playing or skipping) without any choices, and your character just doing their thing. It's a lot closer to a VN where the character already has a set personality, and you're just along for the ride.

Still, I can't wait to see more! I hope that Faye doesn't continue to get to be the star of the show in every scene she's in, though, LOL! Maybe even get proven wrong about something once or twice??? Or can we at least disagree with her, ever? I didn't like how our character has to constantly suck up to her, haha.

the first game is free, though???

This is an incredibly funny, cute little game--I laughed so hard throughout all of it. I even went out of my way to get all the bad endings, because they were so funny! It definitely felt like some of my tabletop games, lol. I would love to see more adventures from this group one day!

Really enjoyed this VN, Silas was great--even if I called him Lassi a lot in my head. :D Either way, it was a fantastic journey, the writing was excellent, and I loved the good ending!

Tries to be edgy, only ends up being boring. For the same effect, read a 15-year-old's blog.
