I've been stuck wondering this maze for 40 years...I've heard the world change, the bombs, the screaming; wars waged and lives changed all while I remain entangled within these leafy walls. Tell me which is better, to find eternal safety far from any food or drink or simple company? Or to be exposed to horror with those most cherished by you. The answer, truly, I cannot know, though perhaps these hallowed halls will unsheathe their secrets unto me in time. For now, I sit and bake in the heat of every new sun dropped upon the earth by man and wait. Wait, waiting, wait.
