Hello, I am new on itch.io, so not sure how it works. If I happen to purchase this game in development, do I need to pay for upcoming chapters?
that has been the case so far but expect some delays, i purchased the game while here it was as chapter 9 which got update to 11 after 11 fully released, now waiting for chapter 12 as it has been launched a while back but no update here yet

nothing extra, think i got the game while it was on a 20% off, can't remember exactly as it has been a close to 2 years since then
No. Paying once should be sufficient.
Been nearly a year since the last update though. The creator hardly prioritizes this platform.
